This is a lovely place to stay with comfortable furniture, great kitchen supplies and dining. Puget Island is quiet and you can watch the fog roll in and out with the tide changes as the herons and ducks feed and hunt. We were able to put in our canoe next to the small shack beside the cabin, and the owners allow use of a shed space for cleaning from hunting and fishing. They were flexible about arrival time and very accommodating about a dog, providing sheets to cover the furniture and a dog bowl outside. They even left us flowers.

This is the 2nd time we stayed in this beautiful home and we loved it! Amazing view of the Columbia River--I loved watching the changes that occurred with the tide coming in and out. The house was very well appointed. The owner stopped by and we learned he had done most of the woodwork--very impressive! The owners really care about their guests and had a thoughtful gift in the refrigerator (smoked salmon) waiting for us. It was truly a wonderful week!
