No water for 5 of 10 day stay

Overall it was fine. We had water issues due to the supply to the island for one day but the rest was due to the actual unit. We were the only unit to receive a notice regarding water issues and a 24hr paper notice on our door, that needed to be rectified or be fined. It was finally rectified with multiple messages. The unit is clean but had a funny smell. We think it came from the sink. Not sure but every time we would enter the apartment you could definitely smell it.

Shame on you

I booked a fishing trip weekend and was looking forward to our stay. We found out 5 days before our trip a hurricane was suppose to hit the Cancun area. We cancelled our trip and tried to contact the owner and couldn't get a hold of them. They refused to refund any part of the fully paid rental. I disputed it with my credit card company to no prevail. I understand the last minute cancellation, but do you really want people at your property during a hurricane? They would not even consider a partial refund or credit for the future. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE THAT ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR BOTTEM LINE? I plan on rescheduling the trip, but will not stay here.

Beautiful and clean apt. Not a great location.

This is an exceptionally beautiful apt. It was very clean and had a beautiful view. Salvador was good to work with. Our only complaint was that it was not in a very nice part of town. We never felt unsafe, however it was pretty far from everything and very few places were within walking distance. Be prepared to take taxis everywhere or rent a golf cart.
