Amazing views, great beach, clean house with everything you need and more. It was perfect for our family of 3 plus the grandparents. Having sand toys already there, as well as a lot of games inside kept our daughter entertained. Short ride to harbor beach for shopping and necessities. Will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful time

Our whole family enjoyed this wonderful property, we had fun playing the lawn games and the views were fantastic. Maria checked in to see if there was anything we needed and wanted to make sure we were having a good time,

I couldn’t have been more pleased with my first vrbo experience. The transactional details and arrangements were flawless. The property was beautiful and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and had all needed amenities.

Great property and host!

This is a great rental. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Beach area was clean and private. The kids had a great time playing in the water and sand. The neighbors were awesome as well. There was an issue with the internet (due to a storm) and Maria had it taking care of before we ever mentioned anything to her. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

The house was very clean and had all the amenities you need. The view of Lake Huron was amazing. It was so relaxing to be able to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Maria was a great hostess with just the right amount of contact, just checking to make sure you didn't need anything. The neighbors were pleasant and introduced themselves. The area is not a tourist trap which makes the pace a little more relaxed.

Peaceful lake getaway

The house and property were wonderful, just as described. Well maintained and updated compared to other similar lake homes. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The lake view and private beach were amazing. A bit rocky but plenty of sand for the kids to play. We enjoyed the grill and firepit. The only downside is that there is not much to do or eat nearby, but if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend away with a serene lake view, this is the place!

Pure Michigan

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. When you enter the home you’re immediately greeted by sweeping views of Lake Huron. The layout of the main level is conducive to gathering and visiting while cooking. The upstairs bedrooms are well appointed and the main bedroom has truly gorgeous views. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. The deck was lovely for having lunch and relaxing in the mornings while watching the sunrise. The steps down to the lake are many, but worth it. The private beach was so well used and the lake was so refreshing. It was such a wonderful trip and that was made possible by Maria and her keen attention to detail. We had such a great time and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful house

The house and property were amazing. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The beach its self was very nice. Warning… there a lot of stairs. But we knew that from the pictures. The water is VERY rocky. You will definitely want water shoes if you plan on going in. The only draw back is that there is absolutely nothing close by. The closest dollar store is 20ish minutes away and the closet place to really stock up for the week is 40 minutes away. If what you’re looking for is a home base to go out exploring this isn’t the best bet… IF however you’d like a calm vacation on the beach this is a great place. Overall the host and property were excellent.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Communication
Nice interior, rooms were clean and cabin was well decorated. Deck, porch and stairs to lake need a lot of work. Stairs are super sketchy. Didn’t use paddle boats as we seen no way to get them down to beach. Paddle boats were main selling point for us, so that was a bummer. If you want to swim, you have to go to Harbor Beach as the beach at the cabin isn’t good for swimming, as it’s full of large rocks out in water. Having the host tell me to take garbage can to the road, or I would be charged, was crazy!

Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The sunrise each morning was lovely and the full moon rise over the water in the evening was amazing!

Great beach vacation

What a lovely, quiet property! We had a great time in the water every day and playing games as a family! The shallow entry was perfect. Kitchen had everything I needed, so we really enjoyed just staying put. The nearby towns seem to have suffered a lot from covid, and some businesses have never recovered, but the people are friendly. There are some local shops, but if you're willing to drive a bit, you'll have everything you could possibly need! Just a great, simple hideaway to rest and recharge!
