Great weekend away

This property had enough space for a large group to comfortably sleep separately and spend time together in communal spaces. Every amenity imaginable was available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual cousins’ weekend at this remarkable property. We spent much of our time together in the kitchen, around the dining table, and relaxing on the porch. One of our favorite traditions is honoring our grandmother by preparing the meals she used to make for us, and the spacious chef’s kitchen gave everyone room to gather comfortably while we cooked. It was equally special to share those meals together at the large dining table. The house and grounds are beautiful and have a timeless charm that made us feel as though we had stepped back in time. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful to the host for opening this extraordinary home to guests like us. It truly gave us a sense of what it must have been like to spend time in a grand vacation mansion from the early 1900s.

We stayed at Brasenhill Estate for a family reunion and couldn’t have been happier. James was incredibly responsive and made the whole process smooth. The property is beautiful — huge both inside and out — with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it for large gatherings.

Absolutely breathtaking

We've been here twice, and it's been fantastic every time. Every single part of this massive place is beautiful, it's always clean, there are amenities galore, and it's an easy place to make memories. Absolutely love it.

Great for Large Families

The mansion was perfect for our family, 17 adults. It was very clean. Having the professional kitchen was a big plus. Lots of different places for the family to hang out. Loved having a table where we could all eat together. Would rent again.

Awesome place for a Family/Friends Reunion

This was an amazing property with plenty of space. The backyard was serene and enjoyed every bit of it. The property was clean and all the amenities available. All the essentials were available and we did not have to step out for any of it. James was very friendly and prompt in answering any questions we had and providing all the required details necessary for the stay. We would always love to go back to this property. Excellent place for large gatherings and reunions.

Amazing Property

My friends and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the mansion. It’s absolutely stunning as are the grounds. The kitchen is well equipped….. the patio furniture is super nice! I planned a Murder Mystery Dinner for 24 and it was absolutely phenomenal! Communication with host was easy. We had zero issues. Will definitely come back! Highly recommend the experience

My family gets together every summer and this year we looked for one place that could fit us all. At one time we had 22 people (adults) in the house. The mansion was perfect for this. There are plenty of beds, the kitchen was great and everyone loved the dishwasher. The dining room was big enough for all of us and the patio was great for breakfast in the morning. The place was big enough for you to find space to yourself as well. Everyone should experience living in a mansion at least once. The owners were great communicators. If I texted them they responded quickly. We would stay here again.

Wonderful house for multi-generation family reunion

Our family of 20, ranging in age from 7 months to 88 years old had a wonderful week at the Brasenhill Mansion. The house was immaculate on arrival, with a kind welcome from the owner, who was exceptionally responsive to questions during the week and who couldn't have been more helpful. There was plenty of space to relax, with a large formal dining room and great kitchen to prepare meals, multiple living room spaces, and a wonderful "man-cave" in the basement with pool and fooz-ball. We were fortunate to have great weather and really enjoyed the beautiful gardens and spacious patio. The house is elegant and charming but very comfortable and modern. It was the perfect location from Hershey and Lancaster with many attractions for kids and grandkids to enjoy. It was the ideal place for our family to gather!

A wonderful 70th birthday and Easter Celebration

I looked for a house to host my extended family for a joint 70th birthday observation and an Easter Celebration. When my children were young (before teenager time), we brought them to Hershey, PA to tour the chocolate factory and visit Hershey Park so we booked the house. The Brasenhill Mansion offered plenty of room for my brother and his wife, my wife and me, my two adult married children, their spouses, the 5 grandchildren ages 1-6, and my single son. The house easily held them all with plenty of room to spread out and to be entertained. We had catered dinners two nights at the house and went out the third to a lovely restaurant less than a mile away. The house held many treasured spaces for the grandkids and the gardens were lovely in the spring and made the perfect space for an Easter Egg Hunt. I can heartily recommend the home for a large family get together. There was a consensus among the group that it should be a do over.

We had such a wonderful time at this house! It's beautiful, clean, huge, and had everything we could need. Our group was a few families with kids, so we really appreciated how much space we had. The main kitchen is enormous with a fast dishwasher that made it easy to clean up for a big group. The host instructions were very thorough, which was great when we decided to use the fire pit for s'mores :) The host was also very responsive; when we had an issue with a light fixture he came to help us right away. Thank you so much -- I hope we'll be back again!

We had the best stay. The mansion was the perfect host for our yearly weekend reunion with my college friends. We loved spending time together around the fire pit on the patio and exploring this amazing historic building. Host was so attentive and information was communicated clearly making check in and check out a breeze. We’d love to stay again.

Stayed at Brasenhill Mansion for the Ren Faire

20 of us including 3 babies stayed here to attend the Pa Ren Faire! This place was perfect! Large enough for everyone! Clean, stocked with linens and towels; even had water in everyone's room! Everyone had a great time!!

Exceeded all expectations!

Had my ceremony, reception, and stayed overnight here for my wedding - it was the most beautiful experience! James and Anne were so accommodating and extremely pleasant to work with! They helped us and responded very quickly whenever we needed something or had any questions. The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The grounds were well taken care of, the kitchen was immaculate, and it overall was amazing. There was nothing but phenomenal feedback from my family and our guests. We will never forget it! So thankful and lucky to have my wedding held here. What an amazing find. Thank you so much to the fantastic owners!

Awesome House!

We had one of our annual family reunions here. All agreed that this house was the best ever! I can't say enough about the care that the host took before and during our stay. First rental I ever had where the host replied to questions and needs within an hour or two. Great location for Hersheypark and Gettysburg. Shops nearby for everything you may need or have forgotten to being. Also: superior A/C! Plenry of toilet paper, towels, etc. On the last day we still found places in the house we hadn't discovered.

We had such a beautiful time at this lovely mansion. It was so intricate and interesting and super clean and comfortable! We had 23 girls and there was so much space to enjoy. Charming sunroom and backyard and very cool mancave space. We were Also all able to sit around the super long dining table which was awesome!! We definitely recommend!!

Momcation!

What an amazing property!!! As a group of moms looking to get away, we wanted a relaxing spot with plenty of space and also space to gather for dinners and group entertainment. I can’t say enough good things about this property! It was absolutely perfect - room to spread out and just read a book or hang together for board games and such. The kitchen allowed us the perfect space to cook for our large group. When we arrived, there was a slight issue with one of the heating systems. James had it addressed immediately and it was fixed within the hour! He was extremely attentive! Highly recommend for your weekend getaway, family reunion, small wedding, etc. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway.
