Gorgeous home in Barbarano Vicentino VI

Enjoy the rural atmosphere in this large holiday home.



The house is nestled in the beautiful nature of the Berici hills, close to the spa centres of Abano and Montegrotto and strategically located to reach the most beautiful cities of art in Veneto.



The house has a large, fenced garden. The large spaces offer the opportunity to gather in the lounge and taste the excellent wines made from organic grapes produced by the owner. The veranda is also a good place to relax. Every year on 10 August there is a party in the garden of the villa with a tasting of local products, to which you are welcome as guests!



The Berici hills are criss-crossed by roads and cycle paths that allow you to admire beautiful Venetian villas. Take a cycle tour along the course of the Brenta River or book a tour on the Burchiello, a typical Venetian boat, for a romantic mini-cruise. The Berici hills are rich in nature trails and a destination for cyclists, but are also suitable for trekking and Nordic walking. Motorcyclists also love these routes.



There are two golf courses just 20 kilometres from the house and various riding stables in the surrounding area for beautiful rides. Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Verona and the beaches of the Adriatic coast and Lake Garda are also beautiful destinations for excursions close to the house.

Das Haus ist sehr schön! Schöner Garten für die Hunde. Leider ist direkt aussen nichts wo man mit den Hunden spatzieren kann ( ausser man möchte permanent steil bergauf laufen ) Die Betten waren sehr sauber! Dafür waren Badezimmer ( Wc und vorallem Dusche ) sehr schmutzig! Ab und an findet man noch ein paar Krabbelnde Freunde im Zimmer.... Und wenn es regnet, dann in haus hinein da das Dach undicht ist. Sonst aber sehr schön!

Rustic home in beautiful town!

Group of 8 of us traveling from Lake Como looking for a central location between Como and Venice and close to Vicenza train station. 1 Hour from Venice and 30 minutes from Vicenza train station. Home is rustic which gives it the special country feel. If you are a cottage lover, you will do just fine here! We enjoyed cooking together and enjoying meals at the huge table in the living room. Kitchen could use a few more cooking tools but we made out just fine. Alessandro was a very generous host, always a text away, and excellent wine maker and we also recommend reaching out to the Winery nearby (15 minute walk) Magia di Barbarano - what a beautiful location up the hill and again, generous hosts. Grocery store and pharmacy right around the corner so no need to shop before you get here - just watch the store hours. The staff at both locations don't speak a ton of English but were most gracious to try! Such a beautiful town - highlight of our stay in Italy. We hired "Airport City Transfer" to get all of us to Venice for a full day and the next evening to take us to the train station for the Night Train. There are restaurants in town that we didn't get to try, unfortunately. We aren't big city people so this location was just perfect where you can relax from the busy pace.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans une vieille grange restaurée où l'espace intérieur ne manquait pas ! Tout le confort nécessaire à un agréable séjour était présent : accueil agréable de la part du propriétaire et de son fils, équipement complet du logement avec parking privé et jardin pour les enfants. L'emplacement de la maison dans le petit village de Barbarano est central avec les commerces principaux à proximité ainsi qu'une station essence toute proche. Le petit village est entouré de magnifiques vignobles vallonnés caractéristiques de la région. Plusieurs circuits de randonnées pédestres, au départ depuis le centre du village permettent de découvrir les alentours du village. Seul bémol, le gaz et l'électricité sont en suppléments… à surveiller compte tenu des volumes importants du logement...
