Luxury Newly Renovated Carriage House in Lower Garden District
This carriage house once housed the animals for the Captain Leathers main house. Both the main house and carriage house create a one of a kind "COMPOUND" in the Lower Garden District, just one block off St. Charles Avenue. The carriage house has just been renovated with top of the line stainless steel appliances and marble kitchen and bathrooms. It is 2000 square feet with two bedrooms on the second floor with ensuite baths. Upstairs has high ceilings, lots of natural light and wooden floors, with 2 beds, 2 baths, living room and washer/dryer. Downstairs has high ceilings, lots of natural light, brick floors, large kitchen, large den and a powder room. French doors in the den open onto a brick patio, massive yard and beautiful landscaping. Since the compound is surrounded by a brick wall with gated entry, THIS CARRIAGE HOUSE IS VERY SAFE!

What a treat to stay in this gorgeous historic carriage house with a yard large that is shared with the owner’s beautiful home (and two adorable dog). We loved our stay there for a fun long weekend in NOLA and our hosts were terrific.
This was a beautiful place to stay in a very convenient neighborhood for us to see the parades, check out St. Charles and Magazine streets, and a quick ride to the French Quarter. Also, we loved the resident dogs!! The hosts were so nice and responsive. Thank you!
Beautiful property, perfect location, wonderful hosts!
Make this your next stay in NOLA. I've stayed at many vacation rentals around US and Europe and this is one of the best!
Very nice building with a wonderful gated courtyard! Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Also learned it’s has a bit of history to it!
