Waterfront Estate Home - Beach and Shared Pool - West

Never before offered! We’ve decided to rent the “twin” of our popular vacation rental on Middle Beach Road in Madison. These two “summer cottages” were designed and built in 1918 by two brothers from Philadelphia, and became the Iconic Middle Beach Road Twins, with Private Waterfront, low tide beach and Inground Swimming Pool! This beautiful cottage sleeps 20 comfortably in 9 bedrooms. Big open living spaces with expansive views from every room. Large Waterfront beach area above seawall , then seawall ladder down to Long Island Sound, and sandy beach at lower tides.

This lovely home is the perfect place for a large gathering of family and friends, with a quick walk to Madison Center & Madison Town Green…Located in the middle of Madison’s prime waterfront on Middle Beach Road.

Great house for our family reunion

We had our multigenerational family reunion (19 of us from age 2 to 87) at this wonderful house. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us. The shared spaces were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The beach is right across the street, and there were two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard and a dingy, which we made good use of. We did a lot of fishing from shore. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Communication with the host was fluid. The towns nearby are very pleasant and worth a visit. We would definitely rent this house again.

Enjoyable stay

The 18 of us in the 3 generation family reunion had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all and the 3 1/2 bathrooms were enough for us plus there was a heated outdoor shower if needed; great for after the beach or pool. We found the private beach across the street and the raft you could swim to enjoyable. The pool although shared with the twin house never seemed crowded . It provided a nice alternative to the beach and the yard around the house was perfect for outdoor activities. The house had a good kitchen, well stocked and a gas grill on the patio if you wanted to eat at home. The main street of town had many cute shops as well as nice restaurants if you wanted to go out. We would highly recommend the house for a family vacation..
