Great Cabin for the price. Easy to reach off Ski Mountain road. Friendly and easy to reach owner as well. Would recommend and stay again.

The cabin is nice on the inside, but the driveway is hard to navigate. Depending on which way you’re approaching, if you’re coming from the Pigeon Forge side, the driveway is hard to turn into. If you’re coming from the other direction, it’s a straight up shot. The parking area is very narrow and hard to get turned around. I had to back up and turn the back end towards the retaining wall several times to get the front of the car going down the driveway.
Cabin was amazing, the location, the cleanliness, just everything! We will definitely be staying here again!

Reservation and check in upon arrival was great. However, no mention of three flights of rickety steps with rotten wood to get to cabin from parking pad that was covered with broken glass. I immediately contacted the host who made excuses and blamed a bear for rotten wood with hole in step. Dangerous for us and our dog. Poor lighting throughout cabin. Towels provided were small and threadbare. Soap for sinks almost empty . No directions for hot tub or fireplace. Not a good experience for us at all. Would not recommend this cabin or host. I’m sure host will reply to this review with more excuses, but I have photo evidence. I suggest VRBO take this cabin off site.
We loved our stay here. It is a bit of a treacherous path up a mountain to get there and we were not expecting it, but it was so relaxing it made it all worth it. The place was beautiful and just as advertised. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the mountains!
The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beauty and overall setting of the property. There were a few things that kept us from giving it 5 stars. The kitchen floors were dirty when we arrived, the downstairs TV didn’t work, and unfortunately, we didn’t receive a response from the host when we reached out about it. The towels were also quite worn and could use replacing. There was an arcade game in the listing pictures that wasn’t there. Overall, we had a great stay and think this property has so much potential. With a little more maintenance and attention to detail this could easily be a 5-star experience!
My boyfriend and I loved the cabin. We took our little Shi-poo with us and he loved it as well. It was private and we used the hot tub and jetted bath every night. The only negative was additional fees that I believe the site added after booking so all I would suggest is add an additional 120 to each night so you can budget properly. Overall Hey bear cabin was great!
Absolutely wonderful stay. Very clean when we arrived. The only bad thing was there was no arcade game machine like the picture showed on vrbo. Other than that it could use some tlc on the maintenance side. Lower tub didn't drain, upstairs toilet seat was broken at the mount, stairs up to the cabin were starting to fall away from the cabin and there was a hole in the steps on the way up. Would recommend to anyone! Had some bear visitors on the porch which was a lovely treat. Wouldn't recommend taking a full size truck there is not a lot of room in the drive to turn around.
Loved staying here. This cabin was so cozy and had nice homely touches. The view was amazing. It was an easy drive into Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay here again.
