Welcome Down by the Bay. Experience the Northern neck in historical Reedville, VA. Reedville is host to Chitterchats Icecream, Reedville Market, and Crazy Crab. Just a short drive to Historical Kilmarnock, Va. you will find fine dining, boutique shopping.

This charming vintage home was recently upgraded, to include new heating & air conditioning systems, a bathroom expansion, new countertop seating, paint throughout, backsplash, updated deck, vinyl flooring.


If you enjoy the water, you’re just a few minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. You will enjoy the fire pit, with ample seating for marshmallow roasting. Firewood not provided. Large yard for games such corn hole (corn hole board/bags provide)

Our home is located in Chesapeake Bay Estates, a mixture of traditional homes, mobile homes and campers.

While we rent our home on a short term basis in full compliance with all state and local regulations, there may be some residents in the community who continue to hold negative opinions about short term rentals. For this reason we ask for your awareness and discretion when interacting with local residents in the neighborhood.

While we are pet friendly, your beloved pets are not allowed on the furniture and/or beds. Pets must be secured at all times. Pets can not be left inside unattended. You are welcome to bring your own pet bedding. Crates are required. While enjoying outdoor activities your pet must be crated if left inside. Pets must remain on a leash, provided yard lead, or fenced in yard. No pets are allowed to run at large. **additional charges will be applicable for any damage caused by your pet. Damage includes but is not limited to, scratching, evidence of chewing, urinating/defecating in the home, pet hair and fleas.

Selfishly want to keep this place a secret 😅

If you’re thinking about going to the area, then this is the place to stay! The house and property are well kept (and updates still being made), the location is great with all the amenities and extras you need, and the communication and accommodations made by the owner are great! We will be making this our little family getaway for sure! We took our 2 girls (2 and 13) and they both had an absolute blast. Youngest had so many toys and extras provided that it saved us so much room packing and had no issue keeping her busy and happy, the tv subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, etc) and the wifi was good for the oldest in our downtime l when not at the beach, in the kayaks, or cruising on the Golfcart! All you need for the beach (chairs for kids and adults, umbrella, beach toys, life jackets, etc) is there so you can pack even less! I’m telling you BOOK THIS PLACE! I truly wish we could keep this to ourselves, but it was too great not to leave a review… which I really never do. Hope this helps and you enjoy your stay as we did - you won’t regret it!

Small but fun

We had a great time on our week vacation in Reedville, Virginia. The house is small, but it has everything you need for a family with kids and dogs. Watching the sunrise in the morning from the beach (with our dogs) was amazing. Driving the golf cart around the neighborhood and to the beach was one of the highlights of the trip. Great vacation for fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and family time. If you enjoy eating out and looking at shops, it's best to go Thursday through Sunday as most places are closed Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. This place has all the small town feels. Owner is very responsive and friendly, which makes the stay even more relaxing/comfortable.
