this cabin was everything as advertized. clean, well stocked and everything it claimed to be. this place is a hidden gem...owners are more than accommodating and just plain good folks. it was more than we expected and is now our choice for the cloudcroft area. we cant wait to go back.
When a wedding is changed the week of and you find this beautiful home in the mountains. This place was amazing. So much room. Wrap around porch. Lots of room for activities. Elk and deer sign all around the cabin as well. So much room to hold our big family. Owners are amazing as well and helped make the experience beyond expectations.
My family and I shared a relaxing, food and laughter filled weekend at Corina's. The location was perfect. The hospitality by the owner was impeccable. Anything that came up, they we quick to respond... personally. Highly recommend!!!
The property location was great lots of Elk. Needs to be cleaned up, there was a lot of junk laying around under the covered porch. There was almost a full sack of trash when we arrived. Dirty blanket and other stuff in the washer. Dishes in the strainer in the kitchen. Dead bugs and hair in both bathrooms. It kinda looked like someone was there up until we arrived. Also there were signs of someone being in the house while we were out. We have rented dozens of places and never had that happen. It should not happen in our opinion. It would have been nice to have more than one television for night time use. We were out most of the time seeing the sites but we all enjoy watching a movie at night. The house itself was awesome, lots of room to spread out. Definitely would stay again if we are ever back in the area.
great home. everything was furnished. I had the privilege to meet the owners of the property. VERY NICE AND PERSONALBLE. Thank you very much. .. Thank you Stacie..
We arrived at the house on Christmas Eve to a fire in the fireplace and heater on. The house was so very cozy! Deer in the driveway. The house was very clean. The decor was beautiful. We stayed 3 nights with our kids and grandchildren. Papaw and the grandchildren went for a hike and saw Turkey, Deer, and baby black bear. We had an amazing time. Although, it didn't snow it was still beautiful and the memories will last forever!!
We very much enjoyed our stay. I also recommend 4 wheel drive in rainy or winter weather. Loved the seclusion. A bit of a hard time finding it the first time, but quickly figured out the route. Maybe highlight the route on the map? I would recommend placing the wifi password in with the welcome instructions, instead of having to search it out. Plenty of room for our needs and the beds were so comfy. There were welcome cookies, and the cabin owner brought us fresh eggs. So Nice and Delicious! Just left a note for the cleaning crew with a couple of small issues for the next guests. We would (and probably will) stay there again. We really enjoyed it.
Thanks!!

Extremely disappointed
The best thing I can say about this property is that it is relatively new construction (if that's important to a future renter) and there was instant hot water in the master bathroom. Here's the rest of the story. The map we received from the realty company was TINY! We never saw a sign for Grace Way, however there was a sign that said "Private Road Do Not Enter." Turns out that's where we needed to be. Seems like the map could've mentioned that. I think the listing on VRBO should include that this particular property is off gravel/dirt roads - not paved. I understand that in the winter, 4WD/chains are necessary. However, with as much rain as we had the two days we were there and considering the steep grade of the roads, I think people need to be aware that you may need 4WD/chains even in the summer. In a perfect world, no one would need wi-fi on vacation, but in reality sometimes things come up and we needed the wi-fi passcode. I tried to contact Stacie Hobson, but was unable to get her. I called the realty company and spoke with Marsha. She didn't have the passcode, but told me it should've been on paperwork on the dining table or else on the refrigerator. There was nothing at either place. Marsha told me she would contact the owner and have the owner get back with me. That never happened. I brought a prepared meal from home to warm for dinner on our first night, but the ovens were FILTHY! I took pictures. It was a toss-up deciding which one to turn on because I figured either one of them would smell terrible while heating up. The stove was also quite dirty - grease splattered and food debris. The showers had someone else's scrubbies, shampoo, soap and HAIR in them. I assume the owner lives here on occasion and that's who the paraphernalia belonged to, but obviously the showers had not been cleaned. In this age of COVID, I expected a more thorough cleaning. There was visible dog hair on the area rug by the couch/coffee table. The house must not have been cleaned prior to our visit. The lighting throughout the house was terrible - very dark. The pictures on VRBO show the garage, but it is not usable. Maybe that's not part of the rental. It hailed the second day we were there, but we couldn't put the vehicle in the garage because there was a bunch of stuff in it. One of the side porches also has a bunch of stuff on it that could probably injure a small child if they were unsupervised long enough to get into it. We will not stay here again.
