We came to Newport for jazz fest, also spent a good amount of time at the beach. Property was well located, hosts were very helpful (let us borrow beach umbrella). I’d recommend this property for your stay
This place was adorable, clean and had all the extras we needed (backyard deck, towels, dishes, blankets, washer/dryer, Roku with Netflix, HMO, Amazon, etc.). It was just a short 8-minute drive into town. Close enough to go to the beaches, stores and restaurants, but in a lovely quiet neighborhood. My friend and I had an amazing long weekend in Newport!
Home was very clean and location was a short drive to beaches and downtown Newport. No microwave oven was a minor inconvenience. A trellis or lattice on the back deck would be a nice addition. All in all a nice home in a nice, quiet neighborhood.
Sara and Erica are wonderful hosts. House is lovely, very clean. Location was perfect. Close to beaches, Newport Mansions and downtown Newport but far enough away from the noise. Highly recommend the place.

Thank you, Janet. It was so great to have you as guests!
This property was indeed the perfect launching point whether you love to spend your time at the beaches in Newport or downtown. We were especially pleased with how close to Easton Beach and the Cliff Walk this was, parts of the Newport experience we're usually too far to enjoy when we stay in the heart of town. The house itself was very clean, with probably the most comfortable bed and couch we've ever had in a rental!

About the host
Hosted by Erica
We are two professional sisters and have lived in Newport for 4 years and love the beaches, restaurants and hiking in the area. We bought this two family home to have partly as our own piece of Newport and as a a place to share the town with others.
Why they chose this property
The home is very welcoming and allows visitors to either relax at the house or head into town or visit any of the closest beaches.
What makes this property unique
The home is perfectly located in the middle so that you can get to town, a local beach or to the bridge with just a short drive. Walking to town and the beach is also doable being only 2 miles away however driving closer to town is recommended for evening timeframe.
