We were so happy to come here especially after knowing the hardships these communities had after the hurricane. Maggie valley and the surrounding areas are amazing. Our cabin was gorgeous, clean and extremely comfortable. Check in and communication was seamless. I plan on returning to this property in the future.
Myself, 2 adults and our 2 dogs visited and had an outstanding stay! The view is amazing and the home is located in a great area. We booked last minute and the hosts were very responsive.
The cabin was very nice. Difficult to find the driveway in the dark and had to park on the roadway and look with a flashlight to find out where to drive down. Driveway lights would be very helpful. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked. Only issue was the grill had no gas. It was late so we didn't bother the owners and cooked on the stove. Overall, we would stay there again.
Our experience here was just what we had hoped for, a worry free, relaxing getaway. The treehouse was just as described. We enjoyed the porch with the rocking chairs where we spent our mornings drinking coffee, and in the evening watching the sunset. We would highly recommend this property for those who enjoy the simply things in life. The view never gets old....
Traci was quick to respond to all our questions and we loved the Christmas decor.
The Treehouse was perfect for our little family getaway. We were able to enjoy some needed time away without the distractions and it was in a great location for doing our first ever cut your own Christmas tree adventure. It happened to be really cold that weekend so the gas fireplace was really cozy! Would definitely stay again. Communication was great and check-in was easy. Our only complaint is that we didn't have more time!
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary in the Smokies. My husbands ideal vacation was quietly drinking coffee on the porch while looking at a beautiful Mountain View. I wanted to see Biltmore Estate. We both wanted seclusion. The Treehouse was the perfect answer. We liked what we saw online. The price fit perfectly into our budget. I had a few questions due to my immobility. The owners responded quickly and we booked it. Checking in and out was a breeze. We needed to rearrange a bit for my chair and my husbands allergies. Again the owners were quick to respond and very accommodating. They even provided us a nice gift card. The Treehouse was quaint and cozy. I loved that we could look out the bedroom window at night and see the far off twinkling lights of Clyde, and wake up to a beautiful mountain view in the morning. Having no tv or stereo was a little shock but the WiFi was fantastic. The house and furniture were a bit dated and dusty. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, or you could find a nice restaurant within a few minutes. The owners left a nice thorough notebook of their favorite places to eat and popular places in neighboring towns. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house is the perfect location between several parks and attractions like Biltmore Estate and Cherokee. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
Great location, and the owner put a lot care into decorating. The view on the balcony was lovely in the evenings, and my little Dachshund Buddy enjoyed how pet friendly it was!

Sweet cottage in the hills of a neighborhood.
Thought it would be in the mountains away from a neighborhood.
Perfect location. Secluded & quiet, except for a couple of dogs who were in a kennel across the street. Very comfy & clean. Close proximity to Asheville for a concert on our first night & Cherokee for a visit to the casino. Oh, and the view!!! To die for. I would definitely stay there again & hope to on my next mountain trip.
Tucked away in the woods is this great place to stay when your in Haywood County.
Its close to everything you need but you feel like there is nothing around except trees and mountains.
Will stay there again and again.
My husband and I were looking for a convenient place for a quick trip to visit Cataloochee Valley…. the Tree House was just perfect! It’s an older cabin and the outside could stand a little remodel which I believe they are starting to redo but the inside is really nice, so cute and sparkling clean. It was extremely comfy and had nice thoughtful touches throughout. Good hot shower. The Mountain View out the living room window and porch was limited but still beautiful and cabin was private from the neighboring homes. Check in was a breeze. All and all a great stay!! I wouldn’t hesitate staying again if in the area.
The treehouse cabin was so beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable, and clean. The location was perfect for exploring, hiking, shopping. We truly enjoyed our time there. We definitely want to go back
Absolutely loved the scenery and the location. It was ideal for taking a break from city and work life. Definitely enjoyed the opportunity to spend quality time with my mom for a weekend getaway.
Beautiful, well-equipped house located in a quiet spot outside Clyde, NC, near Maggie Valley and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had an enjoyable visit, and especially enjoyed the view from the deck and all the hummingbirds!
We loved our stay at the "Tree House" and were so delighted by the attention to the details throughout the house and the back porch with rocking chairs, swing, hummingbird feeders, and an incredible view of the mountains that can be seen not only from the back porch but also from the large master bedroom window. The owners were always available to answer questions, and it seems that took care of all details so that our stay was so comfortable and relaxing. We definitely plan to return next year!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Especially the hammock chair on the back deck with the beautiful view! Our son attends WCU so we may be back! I would warn about the road to the house. It’s very steep and there is a shallow creek you pass through so low profile cars would not be recommended! But it’s in the mountains so it should be expected. The view is worth it! Very clean house and well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for being great hosts!
My friend and I enjoyed staying there. The cabin was cleaned and we didn't have to go out to eat. That what was nice about staying in a cabin and not hotel. It was very cozy and love sitting on the porch outside and looking at the mountains. If we are back that way again that what we will done. Thanks again for letting us stay.
We loved our time at the Tree House. It was nestled up on the mountain and was a lot of fun to drive up (and down!). The view from the deck was spectacular. The home was decorated with a lot of care and consideration, and we had everything we needed. Check in and check out were a breeze. I wish we could have stayed longer, but hopefully we’ll be back! We spent a lot of time in Canton, the next town over. We loved Papertown Coffee, Blue Moon Books, Haynes Ceramics, and the Berm Park bike park in Chestnut Mountain Nature Park. It was just a short drive there.
