Host was very good! House was just as advertised and in the middle of everything Raleigh! We rented for a wedding that was 3 blocks away at Market Hall so location is great! Would rent again.
We had a group of three traveling for a conference that was held at the downtown conference center. Spacious, clean and conveniently located. It was a nice surprise to find a guitar in the living room and found out about a hidden talent of a coworker. Great place to stay!
We stayed here for IBMA in Raleigh and it was perfect since it was just a few blocks from all the action on Fayetteville St., the Convention Center, and the Red Hat Amphitheatre. The owner was great about communicating with us about the check-in and check-out processes, both of which were super easy. We would definitely stay here again for the next music festival!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed. The neighborhood wasn't great, but was what you would expect in a city. However, it was walking distance to pretty much anything. We were able to walk downtown with our 3 month old and 4.5 year old to the kids museum, science museum, parks, and restaurants. Overall, it was a great stay!
This house is perfectly located to everything! 5 short minutes to campus, downtown Raleigh, museums, restaurants, and very easy access to the airport. My only suggestion would be to offer some clean outdoor seating both on the front porch and in the backyard. We would have loved to sit outside in the mornings and evenings but there was a lack of seating available for that. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Disliked: Communication, location
Couldn’t turn thermostat off!!!
Couldn’t sleep well because of noise outside and couldn’t turn off the thermostat, these are the main complaints we had. Host didn’t return our message. The house was clean, the location was a little sketchy for my taste. Coffee maker didn’t work.
We had booked and confirmed our rental 3 weeks prior to arrival. The day before received check in instructions with exception of the door code. We arrived to the property which was several hours from home and messaged about the code. We were made aware that the property was in use and we were refunded. This left us scrambling to find a place to stay for our family of 5 plus dog creating unnecessary stress in what should have been a relaxing situation.
As promised, this property is a quick walk to downtown and beautifully remodeled. For the most part, we felt safe - it’s like any neighborhood in a downtown. Comfortable beds. The fans in the rooms keep the rooms a great temperature when sleeping. The room off of the kitchen has the washer and dryer inside of it and no closet. Kitchen was well stocked. Robert was responsive the first day, but non-responsive during our stay. The coffee maker was not working, the shared bathroom shower was visibly dirty with pink scum, and while the door keypad worked well for guests, the keys in the lockbox for the cleaning crew were visible, not secured, and could have easily created a break-in during our stay! Other downsides: you have a lot of prep to do as the renter before you leave and all lights and fans are accessed by remotes throughout the house. Also, FYI: if you have anyone in your party who can’t easily climb stairs (my 37 yo sister is a stroke survivor), the stairs to the front door are steep and not pictured in the listing. Other than that, we enjoyed walking to Sir Walter Coffee and the downtown restaurants.
We stayed on Columbus Day Weekend which was homecoming for Shaw University. Reserved this in October 2022, whole year in advance.
We were alarmed and wish we would have been notified of the block party that was happening on the street in-front of the house. When we returned Friday evening there were hundreds of people in the street partying along with loud music and no where to park as the street was loaded. We had to park blocks away and walk. My husband has trouble walking so this was a challenge. It was going strong until 11pm. I was able to go back out and bring my vehicle to the front of the house after navigating all the trash and broken glass left behind.
The floors were so dirty that our feet were black from walking around.
The new coffee maker was a challenge. It would not make coffee using the k cup adapter. Kept giving errors of either add water or clean. Finally contacted the host who could help as he wasn't in the area. I finally got it to work using ground coffee.
The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. The cleaning crew needs to work a little harder on the showers and floors.
Very convenient location. Would have preferred use of normal light switches instead of remotes. Also, would have been nice to have some K-cups for coffee. We bought some and left the remaining pods there.
Beautiful home, spacious fenced-in yard, well-appointed kitchen, and an easy walk to park, coffee shop, restaurants, children’s museum. It was perfect for our overnight.
Comfortable, stylish, well appointed, this home is great for friends and families visiting Raleigh. The master closet is a little hidden bonus of luxury. Very central to everything Raleigh has to offer, with a great front porch to enjoy the neighborhood. 100% recommend.
Nicely furnished, good location. Needed to be cleaner. whole house lighting operates on remotes, no basic television without streaming, couldn't watch local news. Lighting, television, not user friendly.
Very nice well-appointed 3 bedroom house, perfect for a weekend trip for a family wedding. Easy check-in and good communucations. Would definitely recommend it.
