Aloha, our spacious studio with full bathroom is the perfect place to call home as you enjoy the Big Island of Hawaii. Located in downtown Kona area, but in a quiet subdivision, you will find yourself perfectly situated within all the conveniences while being in a tranquil and private setting. A few minutes drive out or a lovely walk away, you will find cafes, shops, restaurants and beaches. Welcome to MaiLan hale!

The listing was inaccurate and the pictures were misleading. 5 Star location? They have no location until the day of. The area is known as Hamburger Hill. Fortunately I live here on the Island and was able to get them somewhere else. It’s a complete bait and switch. They had trampolines, plural, with stuff packed in them in the yard, tools and boxes at the entrance to the unit list goes on and on…disappointing!

Cheap for the location

With hotel prices soaring this was a decent room for the price. Allowed us to walk into the older town for dinner or to pick up a rental bike. Simple accommodations with a bed, shower, and fridge. There was a coffee pot and a hot plate but the room was too hot to consider cooking anything. Window A/C never got cooler than 77 degrees. We weren’t there much during the day so it made a great affordable place to shower and sleep.
