About this property

Oceanfront on the Sand - Awesome 4 Bedroom!

Our 1750 sq ft tri-level beach house that was completely remodeled in 2007 is located just south of Aptos & Seascape Resort, approximately 12 miles south of Santa Cruz. It offers a panoramic oceanview with 15 miles of sandy beach. You can enjoy your coffee watching the dolphins & surfers and then watch the sunset from your deck. You have direct access to the beach and campfires are permitted until 10pm.

The gourmet kitchen of granite & stainless, is well stocked with cooking utensils and staples (spices, oils, etc) anything you may have forgotten.
Ample paper products (paper towels,toilet paper) are also supplied. Hair Dryers in 2 bathrooms.

The beds are already made up and waiting. Please bring your own bath & beach towels as they are not provided. This is our home away from home that we invite you to share and we do take great care maintaining it and believe that you will have everything you need for a perfect stay. For our guests protection, we have installed a security camera that cover the front driveway.

Our Happy Place

This is the sixth time our group of friends have come here to enjoy time together in this beautiful spot right on the beach. Host has been awesome each time with great communication and accommodation. Very comfortable, very welcoming condo.

Fantastic Stay

Absolutely Gorgeous

Amazing getaway! Such a great property! The long walks on the beach, watching the waves from our deck. Having Aptos and Capitola so close was an added plus. We will definitely ask the owners for a return visit.

Celebration of life for Mom

Girls weekend

Six of us went to this beautiful home for my sisters bachelorette weekend. The location is divine and the house is beautiful. It is one of the best, most well-stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in. I highly recommend this property.

Great Beach Get Away

This condo is always clean, neat, and family friendly. There's plenty of room, comfortable furniture, and a great view from every room. We always enjoy our time when we stay here. Beth Ann is helpful and quick to respond to questions. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great escape.

Perfect, relaxing getaway

This beach house is the perfect romantic getaway or if you want to go on a mini vacation with the family. It had the perfect view, easy access to the beach. We are definitely coming back next time. Just bring your own bath/beach towels & paper towels.

Perfect for family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here and are already talking about coming back next year! The proximity to the beach can’t be beat, and the ocean views were amazing to see every morning. We especially appreciated that there were enough beach chairs in the house for use - one less thing for us to pack. The owners were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay - thank you for opening your home to us.

The location on beautiful La Selva Beach cannot be beat. The four bedroom townhouse worked great for our group, with a nice common room, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. Communications with the host were prompt and helpful. The balcony with barbecue was also nice. Parking was easy. We look forward to returning in the future.

The best spot for a group getaway!

Each year, I find a spot for my family to get together at the beach for my mom’s birthday. This was a multilevel space with enough room for everyone to spread out. The middle level living room and kitchen was the perfect home base for our family meals, games, and movies. The views and beach accessibility can’t be beat! We were so grateful for the beautiful and comfortable home to relax in together this year.

Very Happy!

Thank you for a lovely stay! Plenty of room for two families. We all really enjoyed the views from the main living area and upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked. The beach is literally steps away. Provided beach chairs and boogie boards were perfect for a day at the beach. Beth Ann was very welcoming our entire stay and we can’t wait to return!

Perfect for Friends Reunion

The home and its location were perfect for us! We are four couples who get together once or twice a year. As mentioned in many of the reviews, the kitchen was well-stocked, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the living space was ideal for visiting. We have already talked about booking again sometime in the future. Thank you for providing a great place for us to celebrate lifelong friendships!

Family Girls Trip

It was such a treat to have beach access right out the door. The waves can be heard by cracking open the sliders to the deck and the fireplace adds an extra touch. This is a special place where we hope to return, next time with the guys. Read the fine print and bring your own towels. It is noted, but I missed it, the owner was incredibly accommodating.

Another wonderful beach trip!

We're just wrapping up our week at the beach and, as always, this beach house did not disappoint! We so look forward to our stay year after year and this week we had the most glorious weather & saw tons of dolphins! The owners take immaculate care of their home and each year it looks as good as the last. While we're sad to see the week coming to an end, we're so grateful to be able to return again next summer and will look forward to that visit all year long. Amazing family stay. Can’t wait to go again.

VRBO very user friendly. Easy access once we arrived. For family get togethers or group of friends, this is a truly amazing location and home. Very comfortable, easy to relax, children comfortable and easy to stay busy. The amenities are incredible. We were so comfortable cooking there. It’s close to shopping, gas, the Boardwalk, Aptos. etc and you’re right on the beach. Can’t beat it. We’re looking for dates now to go back!

Truly Award Winning

Everyone has their unique take on what they consider to be a "fair", "good" or "great" place to rent/vacation . . . well, our take is this La Selva home is a "First Class ~ Top Honors" beach house. It is evident as soon as you open the front door that this is not just another ordinary beach rental. The pride of detail, care and ownership shows through out the entire house with the level of upgraded amenities and personal touches. The extent to which the kitchen & pantry are stocked, and the bedrooms & bathrooms appointed are award winning! And the boogie boards, games, videos, flatscreen tv's, gas BBQ and wireless internet access go beyond the expected! Our family including children and grandchildren has vacationed here for two summers and it truly does feel like home-away-from-home. The location, views and immediate access to the beach (albeit by stairs) make it a perfect destination get-a-way. You'll love it . . . we do! MJ is a delight to work with and she really knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you, MJ!

The house was in a great location. The biggest issue we had was the steps. We had a 2 year old and it was a challenge. They are sooo steep, and were made of a hard tile with no anti slip features. The step width seemed short and there were NO baby gates so safety a concern for adults and kids. It was four levels so the steps were inescapable. Bring a baby gate or two. Not providing towels and having personal family pictures on display was unusual too. Best for age 5 and up
