The spacious and well-equipped kitchen boasts an island with barstool seating for 3 and plenty of counter space. Meal prep will be a happy time with so many comforts of home included in this heart of the cottage. Enjoy a standard drip and a Keurig coffee maker along with stainless appliances, dinnerware, cookware, and handy gadgets.

Happy Ours features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, perfect for your family. The queen primary bedroom includes private access through French doors to the back patio, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or late-night stargazing. Enjoy a large flatscreen TV, closet, and private bath with a single vanity and large shower in this tranquil space.

The guest room features a queen bed and TV and shares the hall bath with the secondary guest room with two single beds which is ideal for the children in your family.

Deeded beach access is a short walk from Happy Ours, and the glistening sugar-white sand of the Emerald Coast will certainly put a smile on your face and a squeak in your walk. Yes, the pure white sand actually squeaks! Long ago, quartz rock from the Appalachian Mountain range made its way down to these beaches. And along the way, the waters polished the quartz into ultra-fine bits of sand. The very smooth quartz squeaks with foot traffic. So, what are you waiting for? Fun Family Getaway

The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed for a fun family getaway. Cute community and just steps to the pool, and a great location along 30A. We hope to stay there again!

Everything we needed

Great little community and very close to the pool while still maintaining some privacy. Bikes, beach toys, coffee and good WiFi are all included and made our stay very relaxing, even when hurricane Sally passed by us. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. I’d recommend Happy Ours to families and people looking to be close to the action, but far enough away to relax.

Great Spring Break for our Family!

Our stay was great. The private beach access is very close and not crowded. The house was a perfect size for our family with small children. One of our kids left a stuffed animal when we left and the property owner was extremely nice to ship it back to us. We have a little boy who is excited to come back after his doggy had an extended stay :)

Great community away from the bustle

Erica was very accommodating and helped us make a last minute reservation. The space was perfect for our family of five and Havense pup. Our girls enjoyed the arcade as well! We will gladly return to the cottages in the future. The location was ideal and away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy a Rosemary beach and Seacrest.

Happy Ours

The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Having the pool off the front steps was great. The proximity to the beach wasn’t very convenient with small children. It was tasking getting back and forth to the beach especially when young children needed to use the bathroom. The original posting doesn’t mention anything about tents so when the welcome email came and said no tents allowed I emailed the manager for clarification as we have four children and an umbrella isn’t ideal. I was told again we couldn’t set up a tent but once there we found out we can actually use a tent just not within the 50 ft area in front of the boardwalk where the umbrella vendor sets up. Had I known this I wouldn’t have purchased umbrellas myself before hand. Despite those hiccups the place was lovely.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Ours! Having the pool right outside your door was wonderful for napping little ones. The house was clean and well stocked. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and any food necessities as there was nothing in the fridge or pantry upon arrival. A small walk to the beach. There was a beach cart but we did not use it because it looked pretty rusted out and we didn’t want to get half way there and it break. Many restaurants within a 5 minute drive but nothing walkable at least with little ones. Overall a fantastic trip!

Quiet and clean

Located between Destin and pcb but closer to pcb. Very quiet. Beach is a bit of a walk, about 10 minutes. Private access doesnt have any hose etc to rinse off, and the steps are steep so taking the cart isn't super easy. But house is nice and pool is nice also. The decor is Wayfair gone wild lol.

End of Summer Vacation

The property was perfect and the location was great. It was almost half way between Rosemary and the Hub. It was a short walk to the beach and right beside the pool. I would definitely stay in this neighborhood again and hopefully at this unit again.

Beach get together

We stayed with our daughter and family, while another daughter and family stayed at a different cottage 2 doors down. Perfectly situated a short walk to beach and just feet from the pool, the cottage was very family friendly. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen and overall cleanliness. Definitely recommend and hope to rent again!

Excellent for family - close to beach

This is a really cute little community. The house was perfect for our family of five. Easy walk to the beach (or bike). There is a crosswalk right there so getting across 30a wasn’t an issue. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, decorated so nice and had the best porch. There was a problem with the AC when we got there and Judy made sure it was taken care of without any issue. We would stay there again for sure.

Cute and very clean! Quick bike or car ride to the Rosemary beach shops/eating area. Easy walk to the beach. The pool never felt busy and having it right off our patio was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay

Great location, cozy cottage.

Loved the pool, easy walk to the beach. We got a golf cart & never had to use the car, quick ride to Rosemary area as well as The Chill. Would definitely recommend & stay again!

Amazing property!

Our stay was amazing. I called the property manager and they answered immediately and answered my question. The place was VERY CLEAN and this is why we rented this property because of the location and all the reviews about how clean it was. The only negative would have to be the bed in the master bedroom. Holy cow it was super uncomfortable and super squeaky!!! That’s the only negative on a great vacation and good experience at a very nice property.

Cozy cottage!

We traveled with 4 teenagers and enjoyed this cottage very much! Easy walk to the beach and the pool is right at the back porch. The cottage is very nice with everything you need. The only negative takeaway was the bed in the master bedroom. It creaked with the slightest movement and was slightly caved in the middle. But that aside, this was an amazing place to stay!! We loved it!

Perfect Size & Location

Happy Ours was the perfect spot for our family of 4. The house was spotless and the recent renovations/finishes made everything "pop". The best part was the proximity to the pool as we could sit on the back porch and see our kids swimming. Hot tub was a nice plus, especially on a chilly overcast day. Beach access was a quick 5 minute walk. The beach wagon was an unexpected surprise that was extremely helpful!. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for our vacation. We'll definitely be back!

Great updated cottage!

We stayed for 4 nights in March during spring break. The property had just gone through a refresh because it was all even nicer than the pictures from when we had booked! You could still smell the fresh coat of paint and all of the appliances were brand new. I think we may have been the first to use them - there wasn't even a crumb in the toaster! The bedding, curtains, and area rug, bath curtain appeared brand new too. It was all very clean and nicely decorated/updated! We thought the twin beds were a bit hard but the primary bedroom bed was comfortable. The community is very nice and well kept. We loved the porch off the back near the pool - very relaxing and peaceful community. The pool is large but I don't think it's heated - it was too cold to swim in. Summer heat would make it refreshing but it's too cold in March. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and we didn't mind it at all because it's a deeded beach access so there was hardly anyone on the beach - so nice! We stayed about a mile east of here a couple years ago in Rosemary Beach and wanted to return because it's the best sand and water anywhere! We've stayed at several vrbo properties and would definitely stay here again. We did have a question about the tv so we called one evening and didn't get a response until the next morning. That's probably standard for using a vacation company vs. private property owner. No other issues to report though. A couple suggestions: It would have been nice to have a vaccum to do a mid-stay clean up of sand that's tracked in (there was just a broom in the closet). It would also be nice if beach chairs were provided for use. (There was a brand new beach wagon that we didn't use). Overall, 5 stars for this property!

Great spot!

We loved our stay at Happy Ours. We had been looking for a place to stay with friends but each family have their own space and this is definitely what we were looking for! One set of friends were directly behind us and we loved the walkway that connected our houses. Check out Happy Ours 2 if you're looking for a similar set up. The place was clean, well furnished, and pool was bigger than it looked in the pictures. We traveled in October so having the hot tub was definitely a plus. The house also had a pac man arcade that the kids loved. The walk to the beach is definitely manageable and there was a cart, bikes, beach chairs and sand toys available. We loved our stay here!

Perfect getaway

We have stayed many times on 30A and this has been our favorite property to date. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We did an adult only and let our son stay at home but it’s definitely cozy enough for the family and cannot wait to bring him back with us. Definitely will stay again!
