Cozy and Rustic "Bear Themed" Cabin~private pond and 7 miles to YNP entrance!

PLEASE READ before inquiring! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins. This cozy cabin is our "Bear Themed" cabin. Located just 7.7 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin is nestled in nature on a private 40+ acres. Owner's residence is conveniently nearby and there are 2 more rental cabins nearby as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. There is also a private pond for fishing. This cabin also makes a great choice for snowmobilers in the winter as main trails are located right out the front of property and we have more than enough space to park your trailers.

The rodeo starts at 7:00pm and is over around 9:00pm. You can buy your tickets online at yellowstonerodeo.com or you can buy them at the gate the night of. Horse trail rides are available, excluding Sundays while the rodeo is in operation. Horse rides sell out quickly so I would suggest booking them in advance at the website listed above.

We are SO HAPPY we picked the Bear Cabin. It was the perfect location to explore Yellowstone. The cabin had everything we needed. I love to bbq, and it was so nice to see a gorgeous sunset with horses nearby while we grilled steak from a local ranch. And that bed was so comfy! Gorgeous property!

Awesome Cabin short drive to Yellowstone

Wonderful cabin!

My husband and I stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks and we absolutely loved it. Caleb and Tarah were so kind and welcoming, the cabin was spotless, and the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the West Yellowstone area!

Wonderful getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for us! Great location , exactly what we were looking for! Far enough away but still close enough to easily see the park and enjoy West Yellowstone. The host were so nice prior to our visit and answered all our questions. Honestly, a wonderful getaway!

Outside and inside, it is beautifully built, furnished, and decorated.The cabin was also impressively clean.The fireplace was great for those chilly mornings and evenings!The hosts were very easy to reach, and responded to messages very quickly.It was a great place to call "home" during our time visiting Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons.We highly recommend!

Perfect Cabin & Location Get-A-Way

Loved the Bear Cabin, perfect size, warm homey feeling,very clean and welcoming. It’s a great location to town and to the W Entrance to Yellowstone. The owners are onsite and there anytime if you needed anything. We highly recommend this cabin for your stay. We’ll be back!!!

NICE BUT CRAMPPED WITH 3 PEOPLE

The stay was really excellent but with 3 people and all our snowmobile gear it was a bit cramped. It would be nice for 1 couple.

Simply Perfect!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of four when visiting Yellowstone. The location was convenient for entering the West entrance and we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fishing in the private pond was an added bonus for our guys!

Home away from home!

Absolutely loved our time at Yellowstone National Park and the cabin was perfect! So beautifully built and decorated and homey. They provide everything you need for a comfortable stay and Tarah was fantastic at communicating back and forth with me prior to our stay. I would give 10 stars if I could!

We stayed at this cabin for 3 nights - great private place to stay after long days in the park. Ended our trip walking to the on-site rodeo and seeing a show. Caleb and Tarrah are very attentive and responsive. Recommend!

Very charming cabin in west yellowstone

Great cabin furnished with taste, very well equiped + oil, spices and condiments to cook. Nice hosts, very reactive to respond. Wifi sometimes a bit unstable. Great location, not too far from the city of West Yellowstone. Rodeo next door, very convenient.
