In this corner of Périgord where we still come across Lauze roofs, in a preserved, quiet setting and yet 20 minutes north of SARLAT and 18 minutes from MONTIGNAC-LASCAUX, our stone gîte with lauze roof, dating from 1639, opens its arms to you.
With a garden and private parking, our cottage offers you on the ground floor: a living room with open-plan kitchen, a bedroom (double bed) with bathroom and shower toilet, on the 1st floor: a bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with 3 single beds as well as a bathroom with toilet.
You can enjoy the private swimming pool for you.

Wonderful gite in a beautiful part of France only 25 minute drive from Sarlat. In an idyllic location with a lovely pool setting. Pictures in the description accurately reflect the gite. However, the upstairs layout could have been better described to explain that the double bedroom can only be accessed through the bedroom with single beds. This did not really suit our two families needs which we had to work around. The hosts Sylvie and Paul were very welcoming and friendly and the couple of issues we had were promptly sorted. They were on hand to answer any questions and provided information about the local area. The pool was lovely and well maintained with daily cleaning. The kitchen is small as pictured but served our needs with all the basic amenities provided and a dishwasher and washing machine. We will miss the daily visits from the hosts dogs who were so friendly and with being dog lovers we didn’t mind their company!

Fantastic Holiday - would recommend

We stayed in June 2024 and were warmly welcomed by the lovely and helpful hosts. The gite, located adjacent to their property, ensured they were available if we needed anything. Despite the small kitchen, it was well-equipped for cooking our own meals, with everything necessary provided. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like travel toiletries, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, and charcoal—enough to get us started for a few days. The gite, which appears to be a converted barn, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We did drop one star for cleanliness due to a few cobwebs, but this is understandable in such a rural setting. We enjoyed the games provided, including Molkky, boules, table tennis, and Monopoly. The pool and garden offered a lovely, clean setting for relaxation, and there was ample parking space. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place. We ourselves hope to return soon.

notre arrive bien mais notre départ il nous a ete reprocher d avoir pris les torchons hélas y avait que 1 torchon sur 3 a notre arrive, mon marie parkinsonnien a casse le siège des wvc donc remplacer j ai demande au proprietaire combien je lui devais a 3 reprises il ma répondu rien et madame nous reproche de ne pas avoir fait un gestenous les avons inviter un appéritif pour tout ses désagréments Elle oublie les fourmies les arraignersSurtout vérifier tout en rentrant dans de logementLa piscine na pas de barrière de protection pour les enfants DESSUS

Bonjour, Nous regrettons que vous ayez un avis négatif concernant votre séjour dans notre gite. Nous avons toutefois fait notre possible pour que les choses se passent au mieux, avec des aménagements pour votre mari (siège de douche, salon de jardin installé dans notre cour intérieure pour éviter les marches, soins à votre mari suite à une blessure...) Concernant la disparition des torchons, il s'avère qu'aujourd'hui il me manque toujours deux torchons. Ce n'est pas le prix de ces articles qui importe... Concernant les fourmis et araignées, nous sommes en campagne et une ancienne maison : je veille à les retirer mais il se peut que certaines insectes m'échappent. Il y a de la poudre à disposition pour empêcher les fourmis d'entrer dans la maison. Enfin concernant la piscine, celle-ci est équipée d'une alarme de sécurité. Je précise que le gîte n'est pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite, je vous l'avais indiqué en mentionnant les nombreuses marches. En espérant que votre mari se porte au mieux.
