Sliding glass doors open to the waterfront lanai where you can enjoy the views, breeze and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico. The spacious guest room is perfect for family or friends. Spend your days shelling and sunning at the beach, swimming in the heating pool, playing tennis, pickleball, shuffle board or horseshoes. Find rare seashells on the beach outside your door. Rent bicycles and explore the island along its 25 miles of safe bike paths, one of which runs right by Pelicans Roost. Don’t miss the birds and alligators at “Ding” Darling Wildlife Refuge, the treasures on display at the Bailey Shell Museum, golf on nearby public courses, shopping in cute boutiques, or dining out on fresh seafood and family-friendly favorites.
Pelicans Roost is a small complex with only 21 units right on the beach. On three sides, it’s surrounded by palms and tropical vegetation, opening to the sparkling white sand beach and gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. It’s close to shopping, restaurants, the bike path, and tiki bars. Large, heated pool, elevator, tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickleball, horseshoe pits and 2 large community gas grills. This is the perfect spot for a Sanibel Island vacation. Quiet and Convenient

This resort has only 21 units. Everything is close both the n Sanibel and on property. Easy to get to the beach, your car, shops. Place was well maintained and relaxing.

Unit was a little worn in particular bathrooms and kitchen. Great view. Easy access to the beach. Nice screened in porch. Poor instructions on how to enter the unit. Had to call the property manager the night we flew in and thankfully they guided us on how to key in as the lockbox was not placed outside of the unit as stated.
