Le Petit Bijou - The New Little Jewel of Coral Bay


Welcome to Le Petit Bijou located on the east facing edge of Quaco Zimmerman on beautiful St. John. This newly constructed Caribbean villa is Coral Bay’s newest gem. Le Petit Bijou is a St. John retreat designed for one or two, perfectly appointed for guests desiring panoramic sunrise to moonrise views, luxurious touches and simple pleasures, with easy island-road access.

Constant trade wind breezes and the sound of the surf can be heard from anywhere in the house. Le Petit Bijou is situated on the lower level of the villa (the upper level living quarters are used by the owners, who are never in residence when the villa is rented). Native stone steps lead you to your private entrance, king en-suite and separate living, kitchen and dining area connected by a covered breezeway and balcony. The living area has a special treat -- a large, original, wall mural by local artists from Sloop Jones Studio.

In addition, located on the upper level of the villa, enjoy the expansive 1200 square foot private patio and pool all to yourself — designed for covered patio lounging, sunbathing poolside, stargazing or full moon picnic. This patio area is the perfect setting to treat yourself to an outdoor massage overlooking the Caribbean blue waters of St. John’s East End and the British Virgin Islands.

All the simple pleasures are at your fingertips... wifi, cable TV, full kitchen, UV filtered water throughout, outdoor grill, beach chairs, pool use towels, beach towels, beach coolers, beach umbrella, beach bag, snorkel gear, bedside reading lights, games, indoor and outdoor dining options, air conditioning, washer/dryer and whole house back-up generator in case of power outages.

While the island is very safe, we are committed to protecting the security of the property and our guests. Outside cameras located on the perimeter of the villa monitor the parking area, the front entrance to the property, the steps leading to the guest living area, and the path going to the pool patio.

The villa is located a short car ride from some of the world's most beautiful, sandy beaches as well as casual and fine dining.

This property is truly incredible. The views from every room are truly breathtaking—even including the shower! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed as well. The provided snorkel gear was great to have so that we didn’t have to worry about renting or bringing our own. Having laundry onsite was also a great bonus.Staying in Coral Bay was also very nice as it was much quieter and laid back. We definitely felt it was worth being a bit farther from most of the restaurants and such to have the easygoing feel of that side of the island. There are still some great restaurants close too! The property managers, Dena and Trevor were so very kind and helpful as well. They definitely go above and beyond and the owners are lucky to have them!

The process for staying ran like a well oiled machine. There were no questions left unanswered, contacts were easy to reach and amazingly quick with responses. Everyone was more than kind, warm and inviting. And then we finally made it to the residence and found it as inviting as everyone who helped us get there. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. Everything was clean and inviting, groceries ordered ahead were in place and all we had to do was relax.

I was thrilled to celebrate my honeymoon at Le Petit Bijou, the little jewel. This was our first trip to St. John, and it was truly paradise. We loved having all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed lounging on the pool deck, relaxing with a book, taking a nap, and exploring all that Coral Bay has to offer. The fresh fish and kabobs from Calabash Market were a treat, and perfect for the grill. I can't say enough good things about this stay. The hosts and Dena (property manager) were incredible, making the planning process very easy and the stay extremely enjoyable and stree-free.

We loved everything about this wonderful place. There are stunning views of the sea and other islands from both rooms and the multiple outdoor decks. The unit was clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. We had access to every amenity we could have wished for - well-stocked kitchen, laundry, and bath, plus beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, bug spray, pool noodles. They thought of everything! There is back-up solar power and a generator so the island's frequent blackouts did not affect us. Wifi and smart TV were dependable. The managers were friendly, accessible and helpful, and kept in touch with us throughout our week there. We so enjoyed sitting on the quiet, private upper deck feeling the sea breeze and dipping in the pool that we had to tear ourselves away to go see the rest of the island. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A True Jewel

This villa is well named and was a joy to stay in. The view was fabulous the location is on the quiet side of St. John. The property manager and her son were friendly to deal with and very responsive. The accomaditions were excellent and perfect for a couple getaway.

Absolutely loved our stay!

My husband and I stayed at Le Petit Bijou for our honeymoon… it was absolutely perfect! The view from our bed and the pool deck itself were some of our favorite parts!

Beautiful place!

Had a fantastic stay at Le Petit Bijou. Place was even better than the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. Spent time at the upstairs patio swimming, watching the boats go by and just soaking up the view. Could not have asked for more! Cannot wait to return.

Le Petit Bijoux has it all-perfect location, easy access with flat parking, stunning views, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed with the sound of the surf lulling you to sleep, and a pool deck with comfortable seating and a hammock.

What a View!

Such a great experience on St. John! It was nice to stay on the Coral Bay side of things and avoid the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay. The home was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. The owner’s did not leave any details out. Loved our stay!

Christmas 2023

Lovely house with great views! We came to get away from the cold weather back home and do a lot of hiking. The location was great for accessing all of our hikes and was a nice place to come back to and relax at the end of the day.

Amazing view with a large pool

We loved staying here. The pool and the multiple patios were amazing. The pool desk has an amazing view as well as the bedroom and living room. It was different to have a separate room but it worked out great. The electricity kept going out in Coral Bay but thankfully this place had a generator and never had any issues. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Great location and would stay there again!

Beautiful peaceful bit of paradise

Those views!!

The views were spectacular and the amenities were fantastic! The home design was just beautiful in every detail! We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, sun shade and beach umbrella, along with the snorkel gear and cooler. It was an excellent trip in a beautiful location.
