We had a wonderful stay. I we travelled to Denali Park which was a beautiful drive. We did have some incidentals but the manager handled quickly for us. Would reccomend this property. Downtown was very close also with great restaurant choices.

Talkeetna & Denali National Park trip

Perfect cabin located within walking distance from the cute little town of Talkeetna. We had a little further drive to the Denali National Park, but it was definitely worth staying here. The cabin was perfect for our group of four and had all the amenities that you need. It was very clean and decorated appropriately for the area. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very spacious with a neat spiral staircase leading to a loft bedroom. We liked that it was within walking distance of downtown Talkeetna. It also has a nice shower! I would recommend this property for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and close proximity to town. It’s a very nice property.

Absolutely Amazing

This place was absolutely fabulous and perfect for our family. We traveled with our adult daughter and it was the best set up for us ! And walking distance town. Would definitely recommend! Can not wait to go back

Great experience

We stayed here with our infant and another couple for my sister’s wedding. The house was perfect for our needs and the caretaker was very helpful and welcoming. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked (though admittedly we didn’t do any cooking), and the location was great. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay, close to town

Location was excellent, just a short 5 min walk through the woods (and saw a moose and baby moose one time!) to town and airport across the road. Clean, nicely stocked kitchen and good quality linens. As mentioned, there are steps from bedrooms to bathroom but wasn't a problem for our family. And the kids loved the electric bug hand zapper - definitely helped with mosquitoes that snuck it with us.

Wonderful experience!

The rental was great, very high end finishes and very nice. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. It was close to restaurants and the train station. Only thing to note is that the 1 bath is upstairs and the primary bedroom is in the basement. Overall a great place to stay and we would certainly recommend staying there!

Great place for weekend stay

Cabin was clean and kitchen was very well stocked. All of the sleeping areas were comfortable and the laundry machines were great. Talkeetna is a cute town on the weekends, but seemed to slow down a bit on weekdays (even mid-July). As we were leaving on a Tuesday, there was a sign in a restaurant downtown that said "sold out, see you friday". We thoroughly enjoyed the Hurricane Train that runs on Thurs - Mon afternoons. Teens hiked in Denali State Park (trailhead about an hour away).

Great location and property

So cute!! We loved it! The property is a short walk from downtown Talkeetna. The town had great stores, amazing restaurants and lots of adventure opportunities. Denali can be seen from town on clear days. The host had coffee and cream along with a Brita water pitcher for us when we arrived. Very clean rooms, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable. We can’t recommend this rental enough. We would definitely stay here again. Very modern appliances with laundry soap and all cleaning supplies we needed during our stay Three luggage racks were a great bonus.

The house was clean and decorated in keeping with the area. The layout of this renovated garage is quirky and it would have been nice to have had a television on the main floor. The coffeemaker definitely needs to be replaced. The pot was cracked and the side to make a pod was so slow with a tiny water reservoir. The upstairs loft bedroom needs small side tables or a floating shelf to sit items on.

The house (formerly a garage) is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. It is so very quiet. There are several ill-conceived designs. First and foremost is the location of the single bathroom on the second floor. One bedroom is on the first floor; the other bedroom is a loft on the 3rd floor which is accessed via a winding metal stairway. So you either have to climb up stairs or climb down the winding metal stairs to reach the bathroom, which can be treacherous and aggravating if you need to “go” once or twice during the night.The loft also has no room for nightstands, so there is no place for your glasses, book, glass of water, etc. The bathroom is very roomy with a nice shower. I would not recommend this property for anyone who has issues with walking or climbing stairs.
