The House of "Shabby Chic"

Wegen der schönen Fotos inkl. Möblierung (shabby chic) entschieden wir uns für dieses Häuschen mit Umschwung. Der Empfang war freundlich, die Erklärungen/Einführung etwas gehetzt. Freundliche Willkommensgeste: eine Flasche roten Wein aus der Region. Die Lage/Umgebung des Hauses war einfach perfekt -nahe am zum Strand, die Geschäfte im Dorf zu Fuss erreichbar - da es keine Nachbarn gab, sehr ruhig und es gab viel Vogelgezwitscher, was für ein Genuss! Aber, das ganze Haus und die Umgebung waren eher shabby als chic! Fazit: eine Generalrenovierung wäre wirklich nötig. In erster Linie dort wo es beim Wintergarten, wo wir die meiste Zeit verbrachten, reinregnet - undichter Wasser-tank der Toilette - dies haben wir dem Vermieter sofort gemeldet! (es wurde nichts unternommen) Die sehr veraltete Ausstattung von Bad (Dusche). Das Kühlschrankagregat ist extrem laut, die Betten quietschen, bei jeder Veränderung der Seitenlage hatte man das Gefühl, dass das Bett auseinander fällt ... die Sofabezüge sind an einigen Stelle zerrissen, zum Glück waren sie aber sauber. Den Schwedenofen konnten wir nicht benutzen da keine Kamingarnitur vorhanden und das Holz, welches wir nutzen hätten dürfen war durch und durch nass ... die Grills/inkl. Garnituren im Garten in sehr schlechtem Zustand - alles verrostet. Es gibt einen massiven Mangel an Pflege im ganzen Haus, im Gartenhäuschen, ein-schliesslich der Fahrräder! Preis-Leitungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz zufriedenstellend - SCHADE!!

Unser Aufenthalt

Gute Lage, großes Grundstück, Zimmer in Ordnung; leider hat das Haus selbst einige Nachteile: das Dach war z.B. leider an einer Stelle undicht, so dass es hereinregnete, die Lampen in den Zimmern funktionierten nur teilweise, die Toilette war quasi nur ein Schrank im Wohnzimmer und im Bad/ in der Dusche gab es fast nie warmes Wasser.
