Welcome to BASIT House. This 3bds/1.5 bath house with two basement apartments is nestled within a charming, quiet neighborhood. A short 10 min walk will take you to downtown Silver Spring and the Red Line Metro – a direct link to the heart of DC (15-minute ride to Union Station stop).

Spend the day touring the monuments and museums of DC, enjoy the nightlife and restaurants of DuPont Circle and Adams Morgan, meet the pandas at the zoo, and then return home to the serenity of the BASIT house with 14in Memory Foam Beds.

My home has two basement apartments - the lower level is tenant-occupied.

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and contained everything we needed for comfort. The location is perfect. Beautiful area not far from DC. This property was clean and very easy to get to the metro. The city bus to the metro station is literally steps from the front walk. It's so easy to get to DC and back again without having to deal with parking or traffic. The kitchen is well stocked with the items we needed for our home away from home. This was a great place to land every evening after a busy day in DC!

A great property, at a brilliant location. It was clean, spacious and with loads of amenities. The host was great to deal with and was really good at responding to any queries. An ideal location for us - the bus stop is right outside and it’s a quick trip to the nearest Metro stop to take you right into DC (we have 3 small children so the bus was easy, otherwise it’s a 20 minute walk to the station).Overall, would definitely recommend!

Samad makes communication very easy. Instructions amd local information are printed and he in my opinion went above and beyond by accomodating our requests. The house is nice and a county bus stop is across the street. (During my trip the fare was free) and this bus takes you directly to the train. I'd stay again.

Clean and comfortable!

We stayed here to visit the Mall and it was exactly as described. The walk to the Metro is a little longer then we'd hoped (took about an hour to get down on the Mall from our house), but the neighborhood is lovely and the grocery store on the way to and from the Metro was super handy. We'd stay again!

Convenient and quiet location

We had a great week staying at this property. It was centrally located for our needs—activities in DC, Baltimore, and Silver Spring area. The neighborhood had a really nice walking/jogging path. The house itself was charming, clean, and had everything we needed (coffee bar, cooking utensils, etc…).
