Enjoyable stay

Had a relaxing time at the cabin, enjoyed fishing off the dock (though very weedy) and canoeing.

The actual interior and spot on the lake of the cabin was great. Communication with the host prior was not the best...I had asked a few questions about the property and he answered only 1 of the 6 I had asked and was not very prompt in his response time. Check in was rough as the e-key pad battery was out, but we got through it. Property could definitely use a cleaning...there was chicken left out on the counter and someone else's laundry in the dryer but otherwise it was great and AC was working which was awesome.

Quiet and Secluded Cabin

Enjoyed the peace and quiet of this cabin and property. Very nice location. Enjoyed the cabin and surrounding. It is a wonderful fishing lake with sunfish, crappies, perch and walleye

Tucked away on Goose Lake

Beautiful cabin in a quaint setting. Very cozy and clean, communication with the host was great. Can confirm there are northern pike in Goose Lake!

Cabin Relax

Everything was great. I was concerned that we missed something about check in and check out as no communication was provided before hand and there were no instructions regarding checkout. We were able to reach the owner to get into the property and cabin and we left the cabin in a clean condition and hoped that was sufficient. Fit our needs perfectly.

The property was great and as advertised. It was beautiful with the changing leaves. Looks like they are building a wonderful waterfall out front that I wish I had been able to see. Wildlife was abundant. Enjoyed the town and local restaurants.

Worked well for us

Real lake cabin feel. We were busy with a nearby project and used the cabin as a base…never really used the lake. Suggest owner place a nightstand in the downstairs bedroom, replace entry steps with deeper treads and add a slip proof mat in bathtub.
