This cabin was beautiful, very clean, well decorated and the perfect easy location for our trip to Franklin. The hosts were extremely helpful and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was very clean and was just as described in the listing online. The location was the perfect distance to downtown. This is an amazing getaway destination and would love to visit again in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Comfy stay, beautiful location inside and out.

Our stay was very comfortable. The pictures don't do the inside justice. The covered porch ended up being a huge benefit in the rain. We hit up the grocery store and stayed in all weekend. The hot tub was spotless, warm, easy to use. The location had beautiful views on the drive up and around the property. Very quiet and serene. I would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect location to town. Beautiful scenery and saw deer on the drive in and out. The property offered everything that you would need. Great trip and would like to return for another weekend getaway.

This is an absolutely amazing getaway. This cabin is extremely nice. Great set up and very clean. Far enough out to get away from town. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Wonderful little charm!

The Bear's Den is even more beautiful and comfy than pictures show. It was peaceful and just what my husband and I needed on a get away trip! There is plenty of nearby hiking, history, great food, and activities. Not to mention just a hop away from Bryson City and the Nantahala River.

Weekend away at the bears den

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay at the bears den. Everything was clean and very cozy! Loved the hot tub! It wasn’t quite as isolated as it seemed in the pictures but it was still very nice!

Excellent place for a couples getaway. Very clean and neat place with beautiful scenery. My wife and I have stayed at many cabin rentals but this place is on top of our list now!! Wonderful creek access and a very nice hot tub. Close to hiking and Wayah Bald.

Franklin NC Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The property was very modern and functional. This is a great base location for the Franklin area as it is close to town but you still get the away from it all feel with the property in a nice quiet area. Another plus was the proximity to the Wayah Bald Tower which offers amazing views.

Perfect vacation

Loved the cozy cottage .It was so nice and clean. Hot tub was awesome for coming back to to relax after a long ride. Perfect location for us. We travel on a motorcycle so it was easy for us to leave out and go to several places that was on our travel list. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, beautiful, and great amenities. Brian & Regina were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful, which was especially appreciated when the arctic polar freeze impacted hot water on Christmas Day. Centrally located. Nice area to walk our small dogs. Bed was really comfortable. Absolutely recommend to couples looking to get away & unwind.

Just the right size, kitchen was well equipped first trip with 8month old pup. She had plenty of room to play in the yard and enjoyed a trip to the creek. Bed was very comfortable and the towels smelled wonderful. Hot tub was just what the dr ordered.

Lovely little cabin by the creek.

The place was lovely and spotless. Had everything we needed. Even a stepstool. As someone who is under 5 feet tall i really appreciate when a rental has a step stool. (I actually travel with my own). Beds and shelves have gotten taller comfy bed without a stepstool.

My husband have lived in Franklin for twenty years and absolutely love living in the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. We own a construction business and have four kids. This is our first VRBO listing and we are very excited to host guests!

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful, quaint, one bedroom cabin surrounded by majestic mountains. The cabin has barn wood siding, a front porch with two rockers, a screened in porch with a hot tub, and a table and two chairs for outdoor dining. There is an outdoor firepit and a grill as well. Inside the cabin is one queen bed, a living/den area with loveseat, chair, TV, internet, kitchen, tiled bathroom floor and shower. The cabin is decorated with barn wood furniture built by my husband, including barn wood shutters.

What makes this property unique

Flat driveway with easy access all year long, close to town, close to Appalachian Trail, hiking on nearby trails, beautiful local waterfalls, kayaking, tubing.
