Perfect location

This cabin has everything you need for a short getaway in Elk country. We saw several elk during our travels. And a black bear in the field next to us! Peaceful quiet location right off the main road. Easy drive to all the viewing sights in Benezette and Quehanna wild woods. The bed was very comfortable, king size. Also has a twin bed in the same room if needed. The kitchen has all the basic items and supplies for easy meal preps. The water isn't drinkable, but lots of bottled water was supplied. The bathroom shower was nice, great water pressure. Temperature was very comfortable for our stay. Air conditioning was awesome. The cabin was spotless. There was a fire ring out back, but we didn't use it. But I did relax in the comfy Adirondack chairs. I recommend the cabin and would stay again

Thomas, we enjoyed our stay at “Hillbilly Hilton”. Easy access, very clean and comfortable. Nice to have essential supplies. Kitchen seemed very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans all though we only stayed two nights so we did not do any cooking. Close proximity to Elk viewing areas.

A Cabin in the Woods

The host was very professional and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our 3 night stay in his cabin. Every morning and evening we had the thrill of seeing does and their fawns in the owner’s yard, just adjacent to the cabin. We had a nice, relaxing vacation in a really nice, well stocked cabin surrounded by the beautiful Moshannon State forest.

Over all the cabin was very nice. Very clean and well maintained. All amenities, to my surprise, were provided (matches & newspaper for fire pit, extra TP and plenty of bottled water). My only comments would be that their grill needs an upgrade along with the pots and pans.
