About this property

Calm and authentic Bon'Auberg, a place to recharge your batteries in the midst of unspoilt nature

Located between the Aubrac plateau and the Lot Valley, this cottage combining modern comfort and spirit of yesteryear, called Bon'Auberg echoing the name of the village and its warm welcome, invites you to spend a holiday in a peaceful hamlet in the heart of unspoilt nature.
This family house dating from the end of the eighteenth century, built in the pure tradition of the region with its slate roof, limestone and oak beams has been renovated with respect for the original elements.
The village of Bonauberg enjoys a pleasant location in a green setting surrounded by chestnut forests, near the Boralde de St Chély stream.
Our terroir rich in its nature, its culture, its traditions, its gastronomy, can be experienced in every season... its multicoloured flora in spring, its unique landscapes in summer, offering multiple hiking trails between pastures, lakes and forests; its concerts and village festivals, its shimmering colours and the bellowing of the deer in autumn, snowshoeing and the pleasures of skiing in winter, when the Aubrac plateau is covered with snow.
Bonauberg is also the ideal starting point to visit the Lot valley and its magnificent listed villages (Saint Côme d'Olt is only 5 km away), not to mention the unmissable Soulages Museum in Rodez.
Our hamlet is 500 m from the GR 65 way of Saint Jacques de Compostela. Different routes and trails also allow for beautiful hikes or simple walks.
The Gîte Bon'Auberg welcomes you all year round to live this unique experience.

Possibility to rent a 2nd house with a capacity of 2 to 6 people at the same address to spend holidays with family or friends while being independent of each other.

You will enjoy a warmly decorated house that is rather cool in summer behind its thick stone walls.
The kitchen, fully equipped, opens onto the dining room and the living room with access to a large terrace for lounging or taking meals outside.
A pretty wood stove will warm up and enhance your evenings.
At your disposal a small library of beautiful books from the region but also board games and a table football.
The three bedrooms are decorated with care.
The cottage has 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets.
A large room opening onto a shaded outdoor space, serves as a laundry room, bicycle shed.
Equipment: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, microwave oven, electric oven, filter coffee maker, Senseo coffee maker with soft pods, toaster, mixer/blender, electric kettle, barbecue.
