My home is a modern contemporary designed Victorian family terraced house which has high ceilings, for bedroomsand plenty of natural light and a very large amount of entertainment space. Located within a short walk of three tube stations and close to the shops and restaurants of Shepherd's Bush. The house has excellent super fast broadband wi-fi which usually delivers at least 100Mbps for fast streaming, downloads and gaming. It has cable television and a small paved patio garden.

We were three women traveling together. This home was ideal. We all had our own room and bathroom. This house is very artistic and decorated delightfully unusual. Quirky and interesting. Julian was a great host. We would stay there again.
We had a great experience here, with our family if 4. Outstanding communication with the owner, and he was very flexible with our checking in/out times. We loved the diverse neighborhood—shops, restaurants, tube, and several bus lines in walking distance. The only limiting factor is that the apartment is multi-story, so not the best choice for anyone with mobility issues. Overall great experience.
My family and I stayed at this accommodation for about three weeks for a Christmas holiday! It is a gorgeous home and has so much character. We loved the lounge area with the built in bookshelves. Julian was incredibly responsive and helpful. He was quick to resolve any questions we had. The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped which was great for our long stay. We didn’t love the shower (a bit small and didn’t stay hot very long) but that’s our only negative really. Highly recommend!
Julian was highly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The home is on a quiet street in a very neat neighborhood of older row houses. You are one block from grocery stores ( ethnic and non-ethnic) , eateries, bakeries and pharmacy. It’s about a 1/2 mi walk to the main tube station that goes into cemtral London. There is a private cab company on the corner just up from the house and they were most helpful for taking all of us when we needed a cab. The house has 3 bedrooms and a bath for each one - a lively kitchen /dining room and a splendid living room. Being American, we struggled with figuring out the unique way one turns on the electricity to the stove but Julian walked us through it. There’s a washer and dryer in the lower level. All in All a delightful stay. We would stay there again if in London

Thank you Kathy. You were delightful and charming guests to host and are welcome back at any time. Kind regards
Great old, multi-floored flat located in the very diverse Shepherd's Bush neighbor. The decor inside is unique and interesting.
*Beds comfortable
*Large kitchen & dining area, cupboard well stocked with cooking basics
*Several bathrooms (3 1/2!!) with plenty of towels
*washer and dryer - laundry soap provided
These saved us because we didn't bring many clothes.
If you're an American like me, be sure to learn how to use these appliances. They are a bit different than what we are used to.
*The owner supplied restaurant and market suggestions and was quiet responsive whenever reached out to him during our stay.
Overall a great stay... the only two things I'd like to mention is the apartment is about 5 miles from the downtown area, about a 35 to 40 minute Uber or taxi ride but there are PLENTY of buses and Underground options nearby. We were always in a hurry so we opted for Uber rides. The other note is people with mobility issues may have difficulty with the stairs in the apartment.
Thanks for allowing stay in your rental Julian!

Overall Good
Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay. We absolutely loved the plates and glasses, dish washer, fridge/freezer (though more ice trays are needed), laundry, and the deep kitchen sink! For future renters, I will list a few issues we noted. The property has NO parking and NO yard (front garden area was overgrown, small, and unusable). Having no A/C on London’s two hottest days of record was nearly unbearable (33-35 degrees Celsius indoors), and it was unseasonably hot all 10 days we were there (July 2022). There were portable fans, but they weren’t very helpful given the limited number of electricity outlets in a home of its age. Perhaps the most important downside was the neighborhood. It was a bit rough for our taste and very loud at night (people screaming at each other past midnight every night), and the surrounding construction awoke us every morning (though I doubt that to be constant…just our dumb luck as was the weather). The home was good and spacious (by European standards), but be prepared to climb stairs and lots of them. There really isn’t an easily accessible and comfortable common area if you’re renting and expecting family time. Most of the sitting furniture on each floor was moderately soiled/worn. The bottom floor has a room that has nude photographic artwork (not appropriate for children under 17). That room could easily be converted to a lovely common room with the correct new furnishings and removal of the “art” and office equipment. Again, overall it was good, and we would consider renting the property again if the need arose. There was nothing that I would consider to be unmanageable. Julian was communicative, helpful, and easy to work with which was delightful.

Dear Steve. Many thanks for your feedback - the first review which hasn't been five stars. Your complaint seems largely to be about London Property and city life. I searched online for London 3 bedroom house rentals with free parking, a large garden and airconditioning and only 5 came up out of thousands and the cheapest was for $1,638 a night! There is not much I can do about the noise of the city, ongoing construction or the parking issues as London becomes increasingly green and carbon neutral. Such is twenty first century city life. At best maybe only 1 in 30,000 homes in London has all these features you want. And I am sorry you didn't like the art. The pieces you refer to are by world famous artists - Tracey Emin of the UK and Nobuyashi Araki of Japan and you can find their works in most decent museums of contemporary art. The nude has been a subject of artists for 600 years since the Renaissance - but I understand some people today still find it challenging to look at nude bodies in art. It would be sad to take such beautiful works of art down and would give the house less personality and individualism - which I think is the unique blessing of short term holiday rentals - the chance to live with someone else's style, taste and eccentricties. It is nice to hear that you would consider renting the property again. However, I think you would be more at home in a more conventional 5 star international brand hotel - although you would have to pay 5 or 6 times the price you paid for my house and even then you wouldn't find dedicated free parking and a large "yard". Not in London. And neither in Paris, Rome or New York! I am grateful for the feedback about ice trays which I shall definitely attend to. If you had mentioned it to me in one of the many messages I received from you and your son during your short stay I would have immediately had them delivered to you next day by Amazon. Thank you very much for your reservation and your feedback. Kind regards Julian
This was a family trip for us, three couples. From the moment we booked this house, the communication with Julian was excellent. He was very friendly and helpful in pointing out activities that we may want to include once he knew why we were there and what we were interested in.
The check-in process was very easy. Once we told Julian when our flight arrived, he calculated the time perfectly and had the maid waiting for us to show us around and give us the keys. The home was exactly as described.
We especially loved that each bedroom is on a separate floor with its own separate bathroom. This was great privacy for three couples. All beds were very comfortable (not one morning of back pain!), and when I crawled into bed after that first long day, I was met with the smell of wonderfully fresh sheets. The towels were also large and luxurious. Water pressure is also excellent in this house, so showers were very refreshing.
Julian’s place is a delightful combination of old charm and modern convenience. The home opens onto a well appointed kitchen, including a dishwasher, and a beautiful dining room table, around which we spent many a fun evening. The refrigerator is also nice and large, so we were able to keep the groceries we needed for the week in there without having to shop multiple times.
The home is beautifully decorated. It’s like being in a museum. Some of the photographs on the walls are simply captivating. The living room is an especially comfortable and beautiful place to relax.
The location of the house is very convenient. The street itself is relatively quiet so you don’t have to deal with a lot of street noise. However, it is only a few minutes walk to grocery stores, restaurants, bus stops, and underground stations. There is even a great pub nearby with very friendly staff and great food.
The washer and dryer are quite new and it was very convenient to be able to wash clothes for a family while we were there.
We had a wonderful time at Julian‘s house, and we would definitely stay there again when in London.

Dear Kristina. Thank you very much for your kind and generous review. Your and your party were wonderfully considerate, communicative and respectful guests who treated the house as if it was your own and left it in a spotless condition. You are genuinely welcome back at any time and thank you very much for your stay. Kind regards Julian
Property had lots of space for 6 family members, rooms are extra large with closets, and drawers in the bedrooms. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
Julian's place is very big and in a great location. The pictures are accurate: I did not feel swindled like I did in my last booking with a competitor site to this one (starts with a).
Julian was a great host: he was flexible with our check-in/check-out and was overall a pleasure to interact with
