This was a good place to stay if you were going to Arcadia National Park the second floor apartment was good the air conditioner in the living room worked very well as well as in the bedroom
Kristan was so kind and helpful and answered all of my questions quickly with a lot of great information about my visit. It was a cute place and I would definitely stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and easy to contact Kristan. The drive to Acadia was beautiful and about 25 mins to get to the park itself. Within the park, we did additional driving to our destinations but enjoyed the beautiful views
This is a great property. Close to downtown Ellsworth - within walking distance of everything. The place was clean and ready for use. Easy access and parking. I highly recommend it!

Thank you Benjamin! It’s defined a convenient location.
We enjoyed staying in quiet Ellsworth in this older, but clean welcoming space. The small one bedroom apartment was cutely decorated with amenities that were just enough for my husband and me.

Our trip to move our son into school was made so much easier here at this quaint and cozy place. The owners have so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. Very bright, clean and all the amenities one needs for a trip away, right down to the basket of snacks. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a very cute apartment, included a complete kitchen, living room with big TV, comfortable queen bed. The bathroom was small but usable. The outside needs some upgrades.
We had a great stay and would stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay! Kristan was very easy to communicate with. We loved all the little touches. Apartment was very cute and cozy. Our only con would be the street noise at night. It seemed to be a fairly busy street even throughout the night. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and the location of the property.

Hi Kelly,
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! I am sorry you experienced noise in the evenings. Typically, the street has little traffic after 6pm until the morning rush to work and school. It's a school zone and is a main route to the elementary school. So much less traffic when school is out for the summer.
Thanks!
Kristan
This property was conveniently located for day trips to Acadia. It usually took us around 40 minutes to get to the park, depending on what our destination was that day. Kristan included a lot of thoughtful touches that made us feel very welcomed. The space was also much bigger than we were expecting, which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this location if you're looking for somewhere that's convenient for Acadia and don't mind a short drive.

Everything about this was great. Easy check in, convenient location and parking, clean, plenty of space and towels. I forgot my makeup remover and they had wipes for when I forgot them. So thoughtful. I’ve stayed at other rentals but the owners here clearly were thoughtful and nice! Thank you!!

Thank you for the kind review! It makes me happy we had what you needed!
Our first impression was uncertain. We couldn’t find the house number on the building and the outside needed some sprucing up. The spiral staircase leading to the upstairs apt was a little challenging to navigate, especially with suitcases or groceries. But once inside, we found the small apartment to be charming and homey.
Nice location in relation to Acadia NP. The House is on a busy street and it being an older house allowed for traffic noise and cold drafts. The host was great with solid communication and nice amenities of snacks and toiletries if needed. TV with streaming in the living room was useful. Security was good and off-street parking was nice. There was a musty odor in the entryway and living room that stayed with us the entire time. The attention to detail in the bathroom was lacking.. exposed rusty nailheads and screws in the very small shower. The bathroom was serviceable, but have come to expect better from VRBO stays at this price.
Kristan was a great host. She was available and provided all the essentials. The property was walking distance to downtown. The building was quite old and unassuming on the outside but the inside of the apartment was fixed up nicely. The shower was very small but usable. Would stay again.
Wonderful Place with Access to Acadia and Bar Harbor
The place was very nice and was well stocked with extra snacks and items in case we forgot anything. Great location not far from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
This place has old-house charm. VERY clean. Met every kitchen need. Kristan was very responsive and kind. The outside does not look like much, but don’t let it surprise you. It is lovely inside. The bathroom is super tiny, but we weren’t staying there for the bathroom! Great location to get to Acadia within 30 minutes and 40 minutes to Bar Harbor. Great place for a couple.
We stayed here for a few days while visiting Acadia National Park. While it was about a 40 minute drive into the park we really didn’t mind because we got to have a bigger place to relax after our active days. The full kitchen and living room were great. It felt very homey. A cute town for wandering around and the apartment was really stocked with everything you could need. We had an amazing trip. Thank you, Kristan!
