Everything was great. The loft bed would be tough for some but there is also a nice pull out couch. Beautiful place. Everything you need to be comfortable. Hosts were welcoming and available.
This property was actually much better than we expected. The check-in was easy and the rental was ready for us. The house is perfect and has everything we could ever need for our stay. The rental is on a very large property with a lot of trails for hiking. We are already thinking about going back.
I came up north for some before-the-rush fishing and quiet. Blueberry Hill did not disappoint! Christian and Michelle are amazing hosts and the cabin was spotless. For anyone who fly fishes, the Mason Tract was much closer to the cabin than I realized and it’s an easy walk into the river. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
This was a perfect cabin for us to come back to each night after visiting family & friends who were camping at Higgins Lake. I loved the aesthetics throughout the cabin, the appliances and finishes all felt high end but in a cute cozy cabin! Very clean, too. The pull out sofa was comfortable and felt more like a mattress than a pull out sofa. I would definitely come again!

We are pleased that you enjoyed your time at our cabin. We hope to see you again next time you visit the area.
Quiet, clean, great access to nearby trails and Au Sable!
A quick trip up to kayak down the Au Sable River. A short drive to downtown Grayling makes this a nice quiet convenient spot. Plenty of trails to explore, many birds, and even met a friendly porcupine. A great fire pit for some evening s’mores while listening to the nighthawks circling overhead. The property was clean (spotless), communication was great, access was trouble-free. Would definitely recommend staying by at any of this host’s properties!
Thankful for the opportunity to stay at the Blueberry A Frame.
The hosts are hands down the best I’ve ever stayed with. The property and experience were nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The interior seemed to be professionally staged, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere with attention to every detail. The property has top-end appliances, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The property itself was everything I hoped for—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Not only do I highly recommend this rental, but I’m already planning my return visit. Truly a 5-star experience!
My wife and I wanted to get out of the house and spend some time relaxing and exploring northern Michigan. This Cabin is located centrally in the area we wanted to explore. I’m very familiar with the area but wanted us stay here as a nice home base to explore from. We road tripped to Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Mio, Luzerne, Gaylord. We went snow tubing at Hanson Hills (had a blast), hiked nearby Wakeley Lake which is in the Huron National Forest and visited all the shops and a lot of the area restaurants as well. The cabin is perfect for a couple and very well decorated, and like new. Sunrises were gorgeous thru the front picture windows. The Cabin has everything you could need in it already including a wood burning fireplace which we enjoyed (you must bring your own wood and kindling). The only drawback might be for people older then us or who have physical limitations as you must be able to climb a ladder to the loft to where the bed is located. We didn’t get to meet Michelle the host, although she did stop by during our stay but happened to be napping after our long hike and lunch at near by Gallagher’s. We were full, and exhausted which makes for a perfect recipe for a nap when your in your 50’s. Michelle’s communication on point Gordon the caretaker met us shortly after we arrived as
Michelle was away traveling when we checked in. We would not hesitate to stay here again! We really enjoyed our stay and Michelle was a wonderful host!
This was an absolute perfect destination. The home is immaculate and beautiful with a unique design and feel. We felt at home immediately, and then ventured outdoors to find how spectacular the location is. Nestled in the woods on a few hundred acres of private land, surrounded by national forest on all sides, this is a home I will stay at again and again.
Booked this little cabin for a short vacation, and it was the perfect place to get away and relax. The place itself was very clean, it had everything I needed inside to be independent, and the hosts were friendly but not overbearing. The location is great for some peace and quiet, with an amazing view of the night sky. There’s also a surprising amount to do in the area if you’re feeling adventurous!

We are so happy you were able to join us! Come back and explore in the summer.
We had an amazing weekend up in Michigan! This modern cabin was extremely cozy and a joy to stay in. It was very easy to access and the hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. There are a variety of activity around, highlight of the trip our trip was the Au Sable river, Forest Dunes golf course, and the local breweries located nearby. We’ll be coming back this summer to spend some time on the nearby lakes and off-road/hiking trails around the area. Highly recommend for those looking to get away for a weekend.
