Off the main drag, last house on the deaf end, gives added privacy.
Very relaxing after long days touring the Adirondacks.
Awsome spot, neat home, clean and comfortable.
Lake George and the surrounding area has tons of shops. We were there during off season so some shops were closed or had reduced hours. Lots of dining options, great vistas and views. The location is the downfall of this property, a major highway runs behind the house that you can see and hear from around 7am until 10pm. The house itself has good bones but needs a lot of renovation and what has been done leaves a lot to be desired. I look at tthings with a critical eye as I used to be a contractor. The bathroom downstairs was so small that while using the toilet my knees were under the small sink. The water pressure in the shower downstairs was almost non existant, the shower had two heads, one fixed and one on a wand, the higher shower head stopped working part way through as there was not enough pressure to support it. There was a serious foul order coming from the kitchen sink drains. The floors which look to be original wood need to be refinished as the major path from door to kitchen is turning almost black. The vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen, hall and bath / laundry area was not installed correctly and use can see nails from the underneth starting to show through. We did like the rabbits that visited every day! I understand that these kind of reviews can sting, especially if the host is the owner. I do not feel anyone should apologize for being honest. My Wife and I decided we would spend more to get a better location and nicer home.
