Booked specifically because BBQ was advertised in listing, however a BBQ was not provided. Owner blamed Vrbo… I hold them both accountable. Had to purchase, assemble, and scrap a BBQ to meet our needs. Not pleased.

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It had all the amenities that we needed. The hot tub was a treat after hikes at Joshua Tree. The host was very responsive and really cared that we had a comfortable stay.

Great place

We were in town to visit Joshua Tree National Park , we did not spend a lot of time at the house between driving in and hiking, but it was very clean, close to the park and perfect for what we were looking for.

Great place! Clean, nice location, accurate photos and description, plus, the host was friendly with good communication! Hot tub and fire pit combo was amazing on a cold winter night after a long hike in Joshua Tree!

Amazing retreat environment!

I just loved my stay at this oasis in the magical Joshua Tree desert. The space was perfect for the solitude I was seeking and so close to the park. I will most definitely return!

Wonderful Little Getaway

This is the cutest little house. It has everything you need or want and is close to town if you need supplies or want to go out. We enjoyed the night sky after a day tooling around Joshua Tree National Park. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in town.

Joshua Tree visit went great!

We stayed here to go to Joshua Tree National park and had great access to the park and surrounding areas. We considered an extra night stay and had quick answers from the host, but ultimately decided to keep our original schedule. Check in was easy, the property was great, we loved it. Highly recommend.

Post interaction was great. But the accommodations were not as described. The bed was very soft in the middle, I had to go buy a heating pad because my back was hurting. Also, I had planned to do my laundry there mid road trip and the washing machine was not working.

The unit overall was lacking in cleanliness. The hot tub was not clean due to it not having a hard top cover. The sink and ac unit wreaked making the entire unit smelly the whole time we were there. The cushions for the outdoor seating were ripped. There was weeds everywhere. Internet was not connected the TV. All troubleshooting did not work. I really wish I hadnt wasted my money here and truly hope all these things are addressed before anyone else stays here. We basically had no access to the main amenities offered on the listing

Cute and quaint

The property owner went above and beyond with communication prior to and during the stay. The property is just as advertised. The hot tub was very nice. We didn't get to enjoy the hammocks because it was too cold, but would be really cool in the warmer seasons. The town is quiet and cute. The only complaint I could come up with is the bed is not the most comfortable and the sheets didn't appear to be the cleanest. Other than that, I give it 5 stars and would stay there again

Great For Visit to Josha Tree

We typically stay in motels, but because we were travelling with our small dog and the lack of dog friendly motels, we decided to search for a residence for rent as an alternative. I do not know that we will ever stay in a motel again. This property is clean - not large so really suitable for a couple or a couple with perhaps one child or, in our case, a small dog. Instead of a small under the counter refrigerator (which we need because medication for our dog must be kept refrigerated), there is a full size refrigerator and freezer. Stove and oven. Microwave. Dishes, plates, utensils, etc. Neighborhood was quiet. Nothing but good things to say. Also, great communications from and with the property owners. Good instructions and completely responsive to any inquiry we had.
