The Sawyer House is a newly renovated little home right in the heart of charming downtown Sawyer, MI. Venture out on foot, and you're a 2-minute walk to Greenbush, Section House, Infusco Coffee, and more. Hop in the car and be at Warren Dunes or Journeyman Distillery in under 10 mins. The Sawyer House is centrally located close to pretty much everything Harbor Country offers.

Inside you'll find all of the comforts of home, including a full kitchen, 2 plush queen beds, as well as a 55" Smart TV with many apps already logged in and ready for use on the Apple TV. The open floor plan and fresh, welcoming decor will make you feel right at home, away from home.

Comfy home within walking distance of downtown Sawyer, close to restaurants, the garden center and coffee shops. Short drive to other harbor country towns and Warren Dunes. Owner was responsive when we reported a minor leak and advised on how to deal with it. Good size for 4 people with necessary amenities. Back patio was great for sitting in the evenings. Quiet location.

Clean, great location, but lacking in a few areas

This house was very clean and nicely decorated as shown in the pics. The location is perfect…close to restaurants, coffee shop, and a market. However, it’s not ideal for anyone that plans to cook. The kitchen was stocked with the bare minimum (no cookie sheets, no scissors, no grill brush, no grill utensils, no large skillet, few cooking utensils, no large Tupperware bowls). Perhaps previous renters took some of the items. Other cons: no fire pit as advertised and the utility sink was very moldy. Overall, a nice house, but needs a few changes to make it 5 stars.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Had a perfect stay in this beautifully decorated home. The house was very clean and we appreciated all the extras left behind for us. You honestly can’t ask for a better location. There are restaurants, a coffee shop and a cute garden center (filled with spirits, food, souvenirs and other gifts) all within walking distance. Additionally, you can visit other restaurants, breweries, wineries, ice cream shops and take day trips (Michiana, New Buffalo and St. Joseph) which are all a short drive away. All this aside, the owner is super responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. He even took the time to mail me back the hat I accidentally left behind. If you’ve never been to Sawyer, look no more and rent this home. You won’t regret it!
