Cabin was as advertised. Nothing crazy fancy but a clean affordable cabin with a good location close to Gatlinburg. Note: the kitchen and living area are up a flight of stairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and would definitely stay here again in the future.
Everything was very nice and clean, and we loved the hot tub most of all! Will definitely stay again!

My only issue is the beds are really uncomfortable. Everything else was satisfactory, but I do believe some changes need to be made with the mattresses. The top bunk on the bottom floor was the only mattress I would consider okay. We appreciate our stay and everything else was just fine.
What a wonderful experience staying at Misty Haven! Everything you see in the listing is 100% accurate. Downtown is close, and relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the streets of Gatlingburg was just much needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and all of the amenities were readily at hand. Kishan's communication was spot on. Thank You, and hope to see you next year!
Outside railing and door in badly need of repair. Needed to know there is a bit of a walk up a small embankment to cabin. My husband cannot walk very far due to back injuries. You cannot park on property. Very clean, and great communication. Thermostat took a bit to figure out to keep cabin even temp. Internet was poor but I’m sure it is any where in the mountains.

The location was great and very close to Rocky Top Sports World, which was the main reason we chose this property. However, the cabin itself needs better upkeep. The property needed dusting, several of the drawers for clothing were broken, the upstairs did not have proper air, and parking is not directly in front of the property which made things a little inconvenient but my teenager did not mind. I understand it was my decision to cancel and rebook, but only receiving 50% back and basically paying twice for the stay definitely did not feel worth it. As a Vrbo host myself, I know situations can be handled better with communication and courtesy.Overall, perfect location, but the experience itself could have been much better. You live and learn.

Hi, we completely understand your frustration regarding the refund situation and want to provide further clarification on how the process works. As we mentioned earlier, we advised against canceling and rebooking because doing so activates Vrbo’s cancellation policy, which only permits a partial refund based on the timing of the cancellation. Once a booking is canceled, the refund process is entirely managed by Vrbo. They retain their portion of the payout, and only a small fraction is sent to us. As a result, we are unable to issue refunds for amounts we never received.
The cancellation policy is clearly outlined on Vrbo, and we always strive to guide our guests through the process to prevent any misunderstandings. We regret that this situation has caused frustration, but your review does not accurately reflect the circumstances. We will be reporting it to Vrbo for their review and consideration. We appreciate your understanding and hope this explanation provides clarity.
Nice cabin for our small family. Both bedrooms on the bottom floor with a nice kitchen and living area up stairs. It’s part of a cabin community on a loop road. Very easy in and out.

"BEARLY WORKING" is a better name for this cabin. I hate writing negative reviews but the cabin failed to meet basic expectations. The WIFI never really worked. We were able to sporadically use it for Netflix but it never worked for laptops. I informed the host and even saw a Spectrum truck next door one morning but it was not addressed during our stay. The grill was old and terrible. One half of a burner worked so I grilled burgers ONE AT A TIME. Major bummer. The upstairs struggled to cool down or heat up. I would not recommend staying here in summer based on the HVAC experience. There were only three plates and three coffee cups in the pantry. The only highlight was the Hot Tub. It was great. Again, I don't take any pride in writing a negative review but I would not recommend this property until the items I listed are addressed.
This cabin is perfectly located close to town but away from all the traffic. Very clean, wash check in and check out. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to the mountains.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The communication with the owner was quick and understanding! Any issues or questions we had they were solved promptly. Definitely will stay here again in the future.
We were in town for a volleyball tournament and decided to book a cabin for a little extra room and fun! One of the things on the top of our list was a location with a hot tub which meant we would have to choose the pricier of the cabins on the list because of this feature. When we arrived, the first thing the kids wanted to do was get in the hot tub however, when we went to get in the water temperature was in the 70s. I will say when I reached out to the host they were very responsive and helpful with trying to get the problem fixed, however the tub never warmed enough to get in until day 2. Unfortunately, day two was a very busy day with volleyball, so we were not able to use the tub as much as we would’ve liked to. We also wanted to use the fireplace however we never could figure out how to get it to turn on and there were no directions left on how to do this. The overall cleanliness of the cabin was good enough for a weekend getaway however, after walking on the floor barefoot, my son‘s feet were completely black. The cabin was very spacious and it was awesome to have 2 1/2 bathrooms and two sets of bunkbeds!Again, I was impressed with the hosts responsiveness, but I think with a little extra effort this cabin could go from just OK to wonderful!
The cabin is as described, bedrooms downstairs, kitchen, and living space with bunk beds upstairs. Lots of towels, toiletries, nice beds and bathrooms. Check-in was easy. Located on a quiet street, a slight walk from parking to cabin. We had a nice stay.
