The open floor plan of the Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room is enjoyed by all from morning until night. It has been said "The Family room is one of the best napping destinations on the Island" , surround by windows the room let the outside in, enjoy the wonderful relaxation of a summer breezes or fall afternoon by the fire. The deck, patio, heated pool and private yard are truly an extension of this home and a wonderful place to enjoy any part of the day. New Bathrooms and Comfortable Bedrooms complete this is a gem!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Leave the sheets but washing the towels is so helpful. Please, If you have time, start to launder the towels.
Leave the door open with the key on the kitchen counter .
Our cleaning company will arrive promptly the agreed check out time.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Allow 1 non -shedding dog w/paid fee. Keep the yard free of dog waste at all times. No dogs on furniture . No dogs in Pool. Barking must be limited.
Outside quiet hour: voices should be kept low and amplified music should be turned off after10:00 pm.

Peaceful Oasis on Shelter Island

This house was perfect for our stay. The pool and backyard exuded privacy, peace and quiet, and was perfect for swimming, grilling and hanging out. The house was very tastefully decorated with comfortable sofas and high quality mattresses. Everything was in good condition, very clean, and we encountered no issues. The host was also very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic house on Shelter Island

The house was perfect - clean, simple and convenient with every possible amenity you can think of. Pool, badminton, games, ping pong, foosball, tons of towels and beach chairs, just everything. Perfect stay for family of 5

This house was perfect for our family of 5 - myself, my husband, in-laws and 9 year old son. The best feature is the fabulous heated pool. We enjoyed swimming every day and reading by the pool. There are a few options for dining outside as well, which we took full advantage of. The inside of the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and the beds and pillows were really comfy. There's also a garage with ping pong and darts. We borrowed beach chairs and checked out Wades Beach and Sunset Beach, both beautiful. Really enjoyed meals at Rams Head, Vine Street, Isola and Salt, as well as the Sylvester Manor farm stand. The owner answered questions quickly and was very generous with her space and things. Would definitely recommend this house and would love to come back again!

Perfect stay on shelter island!

We had an incredible two weeks at Elizabeth’s home in Shelter Island. The house was a dream - everything was exactly as pictured. A great place for a family vacation. Between great pool, backyard, deck, cleanliness and location it can’t be beat.

Fantastic House!

We were in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for a famiky of 6. Four adults and 2 teens. House is very clean, loved the pool, pool towels were available as well as beach chairs. We will definitely be back again. Thank you!

Amazing house and stay

We had an wonderful stay. Elizabeth was informative, responsive and welcoming. The home was beautifully appointed and the backyard/deck and pool were one of our favorite parts of the home. She had paid attention to every detail to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We definitely will be coming back!

Relaxing retreat!

This property was just what we needed. We went along with our children (6yr old and 3 yr old) and grandparents.. and it was perfect. The property is well maintained, the yard was perfect and where we spent most of the days. Would definitely recommend this home. The owner, Elizabeth, was also a great host!

Paradise by the Peconic

We had an amazing time during our spring and early summer stay with two small children and three adults. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The garden was breathtaking to watch blossom with a new show every week. The host was super easy to communicate with. Elizabeth took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond anything expected expected - she even got us groceries during quarantine. We will definitely stay again!

A gorgeous getaway on Shelter Island!

We had the most wonderful stay at Elizabeth's beautiful home this past Memorial Day. The place is even more beautiful in person! It was clean, cozy and it had all the right amenities for a family of four! The pool was incredible and I love how she had pool toys and lots of beach towels! We cannot rave more about Elizabeth and her home! She was always responsive and extremely friendly and kind. We can't wait to return!

Perfect for Our Family

Our family was looking for a house that could accommodate 5 of us (all adults). This house was perfect. The house was very clean, newly renovated, and fully stocked. The rooms are spacious and cheery and the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are all very nice. The kitchen is bright and spacious and perfect for a quick cup of coffee or a full meal. We have been visitors of Shelter Island for a long time. This house met all of our expectations. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach or short drive to anything on the island. The owner was very flexible and friendly. She came to greet us upon our arrival and was very helpful . She sent us a variety of information in advance of our trip. We highly recommend this house and hope to return some time in the not too distant future. Shelter Island is a special place with many special places to enjoy.

My husband and I met on Shelter Island. We feel very fortunate to be able to share this wonderful place with our three children. Our time on Shelter Island is filled with easy going days, badminton in the yard, bike rides into town for ice cream, hikes at the Nature Conservancy, sails in Peconic Bay, afternoons at the beach. We let the day take us where it may, we slow down and reunite as a family .
