Had a great stay! If you want to relax refresh and just have peace, this is for you! Only 20min from town but fills like you are hours from the world!
Would stay again for sure!
My spouse and I enjoyed our anniversary trip. The listing was very accurate. The cabin was in a peaceful location and we only had 2 neighbors. The 3 mile dirt road was a little tricky at night. If there had been snow on the ground a 4x4 would have been needed. The thought process of everything we were going to need was on point. The only thing is there wasn’t a dishwasher which was ok for 2 guests. We will definitely book again this summer or fall.
The cabin was exactly what we wanted a expected. Very coperative and friendly owner. Very remote area and a long gravel drive with occasional loss of cell as owner had stated.phone reception
Great experience renting this property. Directions to the property were very accurate. Definitely need four wheel drive vehicle because the long gravel road leading to the property is narrow, bumpy, and steep in places
The home was excellent and had everything we needed to cook in and all of the toiletries. It was very cozy. The hot tub was hot and clean! The host was gracious and easy to work with. The cabin was several miles off a narrow dirt road and there wasn't much to do around there.... The main concern was that based on the photos we expected a large fishing Creek in the backyard which did not exist. It's mainly just a home in the woods but if that's what you're looking for this is the place!
Olga made everything so easy and comfortable. It was clean, really enjoyed the fireplace on the cool evenings. and we had a restful time. The road there is a bit challenging for us flat landers! (people from Florida) But once you are there it is a very peaceful place.
Thank you Olga,
This cabin/location speaks rest and relaxation. The cabin is so warm and inviting and decorated so tastefully. It's equipped with everything you'll need. The rooms are spacious and the back porch overlooking the forest is the best! We definitely will return. Your host, Olga, will willingly respond to any concerns you may have.

Very private cabin retreat. A bit of a steep incline to get there but managed without 4 wheel drive. House was fully stocked with any kitchen supplies you would need. Clean. Comfortable. And plenty spacious. The outdoor area was absolutely gorgeous. The hot tub was well kept and really relaxing. We stayed for a wedding at Hawkesdene but would come back just for a lovely peaceful get away.
The cabin is a GREAT place to step away from everyday life. The cabin is so quiet you can't hear the (very few) cars that pass by. Sitting on the back porch is so serene listening to the creek and the birds. We ha couple of rain showers and even the falling rain just echoed 'peacefulness.' The cabin had easy-to-use TVs (if you want to watch something) and the wi-fi is very good for cell phone and computer use. We would sta here again and recommend this cabin to others.
We had an amazing time at this very remote cabin. It was a little treacherous going up the mountain so definitely all wheel drive or four-wheel-drive would be needed. Great cabin wonderful hot tub. Only thing I would like to have seen -coffee cups and glasses. There was some wine glasses and mason jars but no coffee cups or every day glasses. Communication was wonderful with the owner and I would recommend taking a picture of the Wi-Fi and password as there is definitely no cell service. Cabin was very cozy and we had a wonderful time!!
Beautiful cabin with a great porch. Jacuzzi is as already on and clean upon arrival. The owner even left 2 laundry pods for our use as well. Bedrooms were big and bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and soap available which was a nice touch. My son who is three was so excited over the books for kids that were there as well. Great stay and owner was quick to respond and accommodate. Roads were no bad at all. They are dirt so you just have a drive a little slower. It was a pretty drive with the creek running down along the road. The patio was private along with a great fire pit with chairs down stairs.
The cabin was clean and very peaceful. The stream flows way below the cabin, but you can hear it clearly early in the morning or in the evening. We enjoyed the hot tub and s'mores by the fire in the evenings!
There are no trout anywhere in the creek, even at the pullouts on the road. Also, the neighbors go back and forth on 4 wheelers and trucks, and have created large ruts in the road leading to the cabin. It was even challenging for our 4x4! We have never stayed in a VRBO cabin/house where we had to haul away our own garbage. I would suggest lowering your cleaning fee if your cleaners are not taking care of garbage too. It is not fair to the guests to be strapped with the additional cost and the haul away.
Beautiful cabin tucked in the middle of the forest with a creek and hot tub
We loved this little cabin in the middle of the woods! The driving to this place it’s an adventure with beautiful sightseeing .
If you want to disconnect from a busy life and feel secluded, this is the place! It has everything you need for your vacation and feels like home. We enjoyed the morning having coffee on the deck listening to birds and hearing the murmurs of the creek as it was a calming and relaxing way to start the day. On the rainy days we enjoyed the hot tub , grilling and catching up with readings. On the sunny days after all the hiking relaxing by the fire pit telling stories and looking at the fireflies was idyllic.
The owners were quick to answer and also even with no cell connection, because of the secluded area, there's a land line and wifi that you can use.
I recommend this place for anyone who likes to trail, sightseeing and relaxing place to stay, close to Tennessee and Georgia.
We will come back!

Odor very bad
Although the cabin appeared very clean it had a very strong musty / mildew smell. Bad enough that we walked in and left. We did not stay in the cabin and found other accommodations. Maintenance had not been done in the backyard and it was grown up. The trout stream advertised was more like an overflow runoff, nothing like in the pictures.
The cabin is a wonderful place to go and unwind. It was very comfortable, perfect decor for the setting and felt like home away from home. The back porch is such a great place to sit and watch as the sun comes up in the morning and to just sit and listen as the woods wake up and the birds start singing. The host was wonderful in providing all the information needed for arrival, during the stay and departure. We had no cell service which is very much an added bonus for a peaceful getaway to just disconnect for a few days, however; wifi was available if needed to access internet or make calls.
We were quite spoiled with how quiet it was only after getting home and realizing just how noisy our surroundings are at home.
The drive up to the cabin is very nice with a creek running along the side of the road. It is steep in some areas but we made it up with no difficulty in a 2wd even after a very hard rain come through.
If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing getaway this is the place to go! Our family very much enjoyed it!
This cabin is so cozy, we had a minor issue after checking in that was out of the host control but im only saying this because the host was on top of it. They had the issue fixed before we ever made it back from dinner! Great host and beautiful cabin !
