6 of us spent the weekend here. Adnan was so pleasant to deal with and responded immediately to any questions. The house was very clean, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the games and especially loved the double canoe and kayaks. We were able to drive to Athens (5 min.), Hudson (30 min.), Catskills (10 min.) Get up early…the sunrises are beautiful!

Very comfortable house

We really enjoyed our stay. House was nice with lots of space for the family to be together without over crowding. The only reason I’m not giving it four stars is due to the boating situation which is not ideal. There is no ladder at the dock which made it impossible for me, an older lady, to get out of the kayak and canoe. I actually fell into the lake twice and got a bit bruised. Fortunately the next door dock had a ladder which I eventually used. Also there was only one adult life jacket which wax inadequate for our group. If these deficiencies are remedied I’ll gladly change my review to a Five Star.

Lakeside house

Homeowner very prompt with requests and responses. Lakeside property with several kayaks/canoes/paddleboats available. Great location for family and friend summer chill mountain getaway.

Perfect family holiday home

This was the perfect place for a getaway from home over Christmas. Situated in a quiet estate with river frontage and a lovely view of the river, the house is spacious and very comfortable. The living area consists of two interleading lounges and dining areas which ensure that a large family has plenty of room to relax. There is a basement games room too, which provided many hours of entertainment and competitive sparring! The bedrooms were comfortable and all linen was fresh and plentiful. All in all we were very pleased with our choice and would happily return, perhaps In summer when we can enjoy the river and clubhouse. Adnan was an extremely helpful and communicative host!
