Located one block from the beautiful Sandwich Marina and Cape Cod Canal, Walk to several Waterfront restaurants and Tree House Brewery. Buy fish just off the boat, or walk and bike on the bike path along the canal..The house is convenient to Boston and other cape locations and the waterfront area is a vibrant and happening place with terrific restaurants and nautical life. Go fishing or watch the boats going through the canal and experience Cape Cod in historicn Sandwich, Ma., the oldest town on the cape. This charming, well-equipped 6 room house is nestled on a hill with a back yard and 2 decks.
There are solid hardwood floors and ceiling fans throughout. The bedrooms have air conditioners and the downstairs air conditioner keeps it cool. New furnishings compliment the open kitchen of this bright, cheerful home. The first floor has a living room, dining room, half bath and sun room with full sleeper sofa and closet. Upstairs there are 2 sunny bedrooms and a lovely full bath. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and seasonal peeks of the Cape Cod Canal while relaxing on the large upper deck that overlooks a lower deck and spacious yard or sit on the front porch for a different view. Stroll to the Cape Cod Canal and get seafood right off the boat, or walk to Horizon's Beach, Town Neck Beach, Sandwich Boardwalk, and Historic Village. Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod and is known for its charm and convenience.
There are several wonderful restaurants and shopping within walking distance and several beautiful spots for water views.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It’s in a perfect location. Great walking distance to the marina and plenty of restaurants. We love riding our bikes along the beautiful Cape Cod canal.

Great Cape Cod Location

Home away from home

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could want. It is walking distance to fabulous restaurants, breath taking marina and a bike/walking path on the Cape Cod canal. We have booked this home 3 years in a row and next year will be #4.

East Sandwich Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our week in East Sandwich. This 2 bedroom Cape worked out perfectly for us, my daughter and her husband while traveling to New England for a family event. The property is clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and in a beautiful neighborhood. Located within 15 minutes to the bridges, it was convenient for us to visit family in RI and enjoy what the Cape has to offer. The property is within walking distance to the Marina, restaurants, Cape Cod canal and the town beach. We’d definitely like to stay here again!

Perfect location

The location of this property is amazing! The neighborhood is perfect for walking/running, quiet in the am and evening, close to the beach, several restaurants, ice cream, and coffee. The house was just right for our family of 4. The AC in the bedrooms is great! It did get warm on the main level of the home, but there is ample outdoor space for dining and sitting, where the cape cod weather is just right! Overall, our family would come back to this spot in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend it to family and friends! Thank you David and Sherri.

Wonderful Cape Escape!

We had a very relaxing stay at this classic Cape home. 1/2 mile to beach, coffee, bakeries, seafood, and in a beautiful quiet town. Loved the Treehouse bar overlooking the water, amazing beers, cocktails (and huge pizza for $20!) Sherri was such an accomodating host and very easy to reach with any questions. The home has all the amenities listed on the site, and a very well stocked and clean functional kitchen. Lots of spaces, for alone time and gathering time too. We had good adult bonding time with our daughters. Will hopefully return again next year! Thank you Sherri and Dave!

Met all our needs. Lovely stay

We spent a week at this property in Sandwich. Communication with the owner was excellent and the house was as expected. It was in an ideal location and you were able to walk to a number of restaurants and the marina . It was in a quiet location and whilst near to the train line, this didn’t bother us at all. The kitchen was well stocked (and we even found a kettle). WiFi was good and access to Netflix, prime etc. There was plenty of space for 3 adults. The washing machine and tumble dryer were in the basement and for those with mobility issues worth noting. The house was very warm (but I think we had been very lucky with the weather). The air conditioning units in the rooms where they were available worked well. My only niggle. Whilst on the surface, the house was clean so bedrooms, bathrooms etc were fine. There were some areas such as window frames that perhaps need a clean and a lick of paint and perhaps a bit of maintenance. As a base for exploring Cape Cod it was ideal (highly recommend downloading the audio tour around the cod). Make sure you visit the local ice cream shop. As it was delicious. Thanks David and Sherri.

Great location

Proximity to all the amenities in walking distance…..canal, marina, restaurants, beach, fishing and bike/ walking path. An air conditioning unit would be desirable on the first floor. House was tastefully decorated and had 4 large TV’s, two beautiful decks. We had a wonderful time.

Super Sandwich Getaway

Location! Location! Location! Lots to do in that area. Walk to very good restaurants and nice beach. The house is immaculate . Truly enjoyed the 2 decks plus the room off the kitchen with large windows - always a lovely breeze. Fully stocked kitchen and washer /dryer made our stay a true pleasure. Will be back soon!

Great home and a great location

We had a lovely week at Sherri and David's home in Sandwich. The house was adorable. Very comfortable, and I thought that the photos actually didn't do it justice. It was nice to have window AC units in the bedrooms for comfortable sleeping, and there were plenty of ceiling fans and cross breezes to keep us comfortable during a heatwave. The beach was just up the road, as were several fantastic seafood restaurants. We rented a bicycle from Rideaway Adventures around the corner so we could bike the canal bike trail. Great communication from the property owners throughout the experience. We had a hurricane threat during our visit, so we were in frequent communication. I would definitely come back to this property again!

Perfect Sandwich Location

This was our family's first time staying in Sandwich and we absolutely loved it! We stayed the week of 8/14/21. First of all the house was clean, had a modern kitchen, and had everything we needed. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night under the stars. And of course the location could not be better. We rode our bikes to the boardwalk where our kids jumped off into the water. I made 3 trips to Treehouse Brewery which is the best beer in the world (seriously). The bike trail along the canal, Seafood Sams, Shipwreck Ice Cream, Mini Golf, easy on and off the Cape The list goes on and on. The hosts Sherri and David have a great little house in a perfect location. Thank you!

Comfortable and convenient

Nice house very near the Sandwich beach and marina. Quiet neighborhood. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Nice beach in Sandwich. Tons of very nice places to walk nearby. The Cape has a lot to offer. If you like to ride bikes, the trail alongside the Cape Cod Canal is only a 2 or 3 minute ride away. Nice place.

Location, location, location

A great time was had at this house. My sister lives nearby but her house isn’t big enough to fit us all. The house was well supplied and accommodating. So close to everything that Sandwich (and surrounding area) has to offer! Would book again.

I love being a host on VRBO because I get to know so many wonderful people from all over the world. After growing up outside of Chicago and moving to New York City to pursue a singing career, I moved to the Berkshire Hills of MA, but my love of water has never gone away. Twenty years ago, my husband and I bought this house because we've always wanted a piece of the beauty that is Cape Cod.

Why they chose this property

We chose Town Neck in Sandwich because of it's proximity to water, boating, fine restaurants and history. Sandwich is the oldest town on the cape.

What makes this property unique

Our house is bright and cheery, yet cozy. It's our piece of heaven. The Town Neck area is vibrant and beautiful.
