Wonderful house. If I had to make 1 suggestion it would be…There was not enough glassware or coffee cups for the number of people we had staying (7 people).
There were helpful books about the area! We enjoyed coffee on the expansive deck every morning and then the spectacular sunsets there are amazing!Gigantic bathrooms for each bedroom with King sized beds with luxurious sheets!
This property is a real “Gem”…fantastic views, comfortable & cozy rooms, large living spaces, quiet surroundings and easy drive to Highlands and other venues!
What a lovely home! The views were spectacular and the location was perfect. I rented the house for my annual college roommate reunion, and it was exactly what we were looking for -- a mountain feel with a closeness to town. The property was exactly as pictured and described. We had a small issue at check-in, but Jennifer was extremely responsive and got it taken care of very quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this property.
Outstanding experience all around. Jen was a fantastic, responsive, and gracious host. Home was beautiful, clean, and highly functional; in an absolutely stunning mountain setting. Could not have been more perfect for our particular needs- rooming a bunch of different family members visiting for a big highlands wedding! Would absolutely look to stay again if we are ever lucky enough to return to highlands! Thanks so much!!!
Beautiful house and view! We totally loved our stay! Spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Fire pit was such a nice addition! Thank you for sharing your amazing house with us!
This house was the perfect retreat for our friends in family on fall break. They small treats stocked in the home for us prior to our arrival was a wonderful personal touch. We will definitely book here again.
This home is beautiful. Very well designed. Layout is expansive yet comfortable for the five adults of our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with the exception of a few minor inconveniences.

Everything was amazing. The only issue was that VRBO gps directions were not accurate and we had to get separate directions from the owner.

Hi again, Kristine! Thank you for your kind feedback and exceptional communication during your stay at Journey's End. Looking forward to your next visit!
Loved the property which set up nicely for our family. Adult children and their spouses and our grandkids enjoyed time together, various restaurants in Highlands, watching football and the Highlands Outdoor center featuring snow tubing hill, ice skating and alpine coaster ride. Beautiful views from deck, plenty of quiet areas in home for reading. Ideal retreat.alpine

Steve and Leisel, thank you for the positive feedback on Journey’s End! I was very pleased that you chose Journey’s End for your yearly group get together. Having coordinated with another VRBO owner at their property located within our Falling Waters development, we were easily able to accommodate you entourage of thirteen. Highlands is indeed a great destination for a momentous event such as yours and we’re glad that your outing was such a success. We welcome your return next year!
