UPDATE- our house is standing but wehave no utilities at this time. Will update listing when we do. Good news is the river view from the house is much better now! 😅 Welcome to our home on 2 acres along the Suwannee River. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The seclusion and quietness will draw you in and make the hustle and bustle of a busy world just disappear (if only for the weekend). Look out for the wildlife here. Lots of deer, turkeys, owls, coyotes and even a bobcat! So if you have small pets please don’t leave them unattended outside, but sit on the porch quietly enjoy the river view and listen to what nature has to offer. Also welcome to rural Florida. While we do provide once a month pest control you may still occasionally find a bug or web in the house. So be sure to bring your bug spray for outdoor activities as the mosquitos can get crazy in summer months. We have recently added two tandem kayaks to the property which can be enjoyed by guests for a refundable deposit. Not responsible for injury related to kayak use. Please contact host for more info. Failure to pay identify pets are staying before arrival will result in a $200 fee or cancellation of your reservation without refund. We do monitor cameras at arrival and departure for this reason. PLEASE READ OUR ENTIRE RENTAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BEFORE BOOKING FOR MORE INFORMATION AND RULES.

Quiet, peaceful location. Nice dock to fish on and kayaks were a plus. Open concept of the house was great for spending time with the family. Highly recommend.
what a special place for rest and relaxation and to spend quality time with those you Love, the property is very nice away from all the hustle and bustle, We really enjoyed sitting on the dock which is right on the Suwannee River. The home is big and very clean, nice updated appliances, well equipped and the decor was very nice. The back deck is also very nice, We enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet place to get away
This was a perfect cabin getaway, and my friends and I enjoyed it immensely! We used the canoes, went to the nearby and nearly unknown artesian springs, swam in the Suwannee River, and sat on the private floating dock.
I would definitely include in the information about the place that it’s located down roads that you should take your Avalanche down and not your AMG…
We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with some nature time. We had a lovely stay. The owner was very upfront about damage from a hurricane so I knew I should expect it. There were downed trees and remnants of what looked to be a forest fire. The view on the dock was priceless! The two kids rooms were a bit warm.
When enjoyed our stay. Overall, the house was neat and clean and included several extras. We had friends a couple doors down with a vacation home, so they helped us maneuver around town. We were disappointed that there was no TV in the master bedroom as per the description. The property manager explained the last guests broke it. No compensation was offered.
We would stay again.
Our college kids drove south and we headed north for a quick get together and to celebrate the brothers 13th birthday. The setting was so beautiful and peaceful. Layout of the house was great for our family of 6. Spent lots of time soaking in the sun rays on the dock! Great hostess!
My family & I absolutely loved this little slice of privacy! Very clean house & nice room sizes. Friendly neighbors & property owners! Tons of springs around to enjoy! Two right down the river both about a mile or two via kayak! Would recommend for a family get away to some springs.
This site was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were great and were very responsive. The property was secluded, clean and exactly what you'd expect on this historic river. The kayaks were in excellent shape and well worth the journey. Two can fit comfortably in one so do sell that aspect of the trip short. There is some work to get the kayaks off the racks and down to the doc so test the weight prior setting your heart on the adventure. If you have a 4wd vehicle, making a left and heading north a fun alternative moderate off-road path back to civilization! Would recommend this site to all.
The house was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and playing card games. Our daughter enjoyed the Powder Room. We felt safe and welcomed. The owner was very kind and responded quickly. We would absolutely go back!!
Prompt responses from host. Kayaks were a lot of fun. House is exactly as advertised. Clean and nicely decorated. All of these household essentials are included.
This property is gorgeous inside and out! The outside of the property nice right off the river. At night you can see more stars than you can imagine. The inside of the house is huge (the pictures don’t do it justice) plenty of room to sit around with the family eat and play board games. I would highly recommend for a nice family getaway.
