Wildlife experiences
We really enjoyed the property. We saw many deer and wild turkeys on very close to the house almost every day. The place is pretty close to Shell Lake, which is a stunning beach.

Beautiful spot for a woodsy getaway
The cabin was lovely and well stocked for our cooking endeavors. Magd was very accommodating and helpful. We were able to rent the cabin 1 day early at the last minute in order to avoid driving in a snow storm. We got about a foot of snow and Magd was great about communicating with the plow service so we could get out. We did some snow shoeing from the property and enjoyed the quiet and beautiful stars at night! Great spot for a cozy winter get away!!

Why they chose this property

We would like to welcome you to our cabin and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We came to this area a couple of years ago and fell in love with the privacy, quietness and abundance of nature. Its close proximity to many attractions, activities and very interesting local restaurants, breweries and wineries is also a big plus. The people in the community are very warm and welcoming too.
We love walking the snowmobile trail and riding the many nearby trails. The snowmobile trail is located right out the back door on the south side of the property while access to the ATV/UTV trails are right out the front door. There a many nearby lakes, rivers and streams to experience. There are just so many unique and wonderful opportunities for dining, shopping, catching live music, enjoying festivals and appreciating local arts. Once the days activities are done, we love winding down on the deck or around the fire pit and listen to the breeze whispering through the pines in addition to the occasional sounds of wildlife (the yips and howls of wolves and coyotes, the hoots of owls and distinctive call of the whippoorwill are some of the neat sounds you may hear)
We put together some pointers to familiarize you with the area. We hope you will have a fabulous stay.
