Our family had a wonderful stay at Mountain Rest Lake! We enjoyed fishing, going out on boats, and doing some hikes nearby. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. It was a perfect spot for our fall vacation!

We loved it here! There are amazing views of the lake from inside the cabin and from the deck and the dock. The owner had plenty of watercraft (kayaks, etc) for us to use, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and helped with any request we had. The lake is small (which we knew) but it's still great for kayaking/paddleboarding, and it's nice that you don't have motor boats making noise and roughing up the water. Definitely a great stay, and we plan to be back!

This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing with an awesome lake. There are plenty of activities to do at the cabin or in the nearby areas, we will definitely be back again!

The cabin has a beautiful front view, it’s well equipped with everything needed, and features a cozy, welcoming decor. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy mountain cabin!The cabin was spotlessly clean and incredibly inviting from the moment we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept so well every night. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals a real pleasure.We loved taking the kayaks out on the beautiful lake and enjoyed the peaceful, serene setting. The location was perfect, with a quick drive to many stunning hikes in the Summer National Forest.Our host was fantastic. Communication was clear, timely, and effective, and the hospitality felt genuinely warm.We would recommend this cabin 10/10 and would definitely return someday. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway!

We had a lovely weekend! The kayaks were a big hit with the kids and we enjoyed trying to catch fish from the dock. The trail to the pigpen falls was excellent as well.
