When was the last time you breathed in crisp clean Mountain Air while listening to the water of a babbling brook? If it's been a while consider booking your stay at Black Bear Cabin. Black Bear Cabin is a quaint two-bedroom, two-bath home situated less than a quarter-mile south of the Kancamagus Highway, mere minutes to the Saco River, North Conway dining, Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge, Attitash Ski Resort, Cranmore, Purity Spring, and tax-free outlet shopping.

Interested in hiking the White Mountain National Forest? Simply step outside. The White Mountain Nation Forest is your backyard. You are also minutes to hundreds of hiking trails including Mount Chocorua and the waterfall trails of the Kancamagus Highway. How about cross country skiing or snowshoeing in the National Forest? Simply follow the Hurley Corner "paper road" at the end of the back driveway to begin your adventure.

If you do venture into the Forest be sure to bring your bear spray, extra water, and a compass! The White Mountain National Forest is 750,852 acres of wildlife so bring your camera too as you never know what you might cross paths with.

There are some things to know about Black Bear Cabin before you arrive for your stay:

- Bookings are Sunday 4 pm check-in through Sunday 11 am Checkout.
- Black Bear Cabin is a no-smoking property - inside and out.
- When we are not renting to guests, this is our family vacation home. We have a child extremely allergic to animals so we kindly ask you to not have animals inside the cabin. We wish we could offer to host pets however due to this severe allergy we are unable to do so.
- Black Bear Cabin is located immediately next to Conway Creek and on the edge of the White Mountains National Forest. This means bugs and animals. It is in your best interest to bring bug spray.
- We kindly ask you to not leave the door open. Wildlife has no issue strolling in the door.
- Food … oh goodness, please do not leave food outside. No joke, there is a reason the cabin is named Black Bear! Wildlife is wonderful to observe from a safe distance. Food will attract them to you.
- NEVER leave children outside unattended alone.
- Cabin in on septic. Nothing but TP into the toilets. We have the septic checked after every visit. So please TP only or risk losing your deposit.
- The cabin has drilled well water - report available.
- Firestick TV, WiFi, and electricity are all included. The smart TV can be used to log into your Disney, Netflix, Hulu, etc accounts if you wish (though why bother when you have a billion stars and a babbling brook outside!).
- The cabin does not have a dishwasher or washer and dryer.
- Due to the cabin's location in dense forest, fast-running brook in the backyard, steep stairs in the front our cabin is not suitable for pre-teen and younger children.
- Guest access is by lockbox. A unique code will be shared with you the morning of your visit to access the property keys.
