Quaint cabin. Clean. Had everything we needed. We rented at a from high altitude and spent the day riding alpine loop. It was amazing. The town is gorgeous.
Very nice cabin for three people. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our two night stay. Couch and eating area were nice.

Thanks for the positive review Karen! Hope you will stay with us again and let your friends know about us!
We enjoyed your stay in these cute cabins. The location is great to downtown Lake City and check in was super easy. One thing to note is the mattresses seem a little old and not the most comfy. Outside of that our stay was great!

Emily, I am sorry you didn’t find the mattress to be comfortable. The mattresses were purchased last year right after we purchased the cabins. We replaced forty year old mattresses! Many of our guests have mentioned that they slept great and really found the mattress extra comfortable.
I am glad to hear you still enjoyed your stay.
Was a little warm during the day due to no air conditioner in the cabin but was very nice at night. I belive it was a little warmer than usual for the area during our stay. Other than that, no complaints. Would Def stay again

Thanks Warren! We hope you do stay with us again and recommend us to your friends. We are going to add some black out currents on those west windows which should help keep the cabins cooler during the day!
I was lucky enough to talk personally w/ Teresa. She was so nice. The website had first told me the cabin was available and then it suddenly wasn't. I checked in w/ Teresa and she verified that we had successfully booked it. When we arrived the door was open, the cabin was clean and the key was on the table. Thanks for making the check in so easy. The mattresses and bedding were cozy and a very nice touch. The firepit was a lot of fun, especially for our young grandson. The neighbors from OK shared their s'mores w/ him and he was over the moon. My daughter-in-law and husband, being coffee coneussors, were not too wild about the coffee choice, but the Keurig was awesome! We appreciated having the three ring binder w/ your story and all the info that you made available. The only thing I regret is that we weren't able to thank you in person. We'd like to come again and stay a little longer. Wildflower Cabins is a perfect renaming and much more welcoming than Cannibal Cabins in spite of the fact that we are all carnivores.
Next time we'll come to witness the wildflowers. Thanks again,
Your neighbors from over the pass in Durango,
The Shislers

Thanks Deborah! We really appreciate the sweet comments! So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We can’t wait to host you again. By the way it looks like I will be there hosting in July and September for the 2023 season. Early July should be perfect for wildflowers. But, late September is also gorgeous with the golden Aspens. (We do book very early for July though. Already have lots of nights for July 2023 booked.)
Again thanks for your business and you sweet comments.
