Aptos-Santa Cruz~Ocean Front Beach House

If your looking for OCEAN FRONT , this is it! Regardless of the weather, you will love your stay here! Bring your binoculars to watch the sea life swim by...whales, dolphins, seals and otters!

Our cozy and comfortable beach house is located on the bluff above Seacliff State Beach and offers magnificent views of Seacliff State Beach and Monterey Bay. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and will sleep up to six. The king bedroom has a sliding glass door that offers ocean views and sounds of the surf. The queen bedroom also has a sliding glass door that opens to the side patio. and you can hear the waves. The last bedroom has a double bed. There is also a small bonus room/den. The gas fireplace log set in the beautiful river rock fireplace makes it easy to stay warm on a cold winter day or warming up after a swim in the Pacific. Satellite TV is available in the living room, the king room, and the bonus room. Wireless internet is available to keep you connected. Our kitchen has a 5 burner gas range, convection microwave and granite countertops. It is also fully outfitted with utensils and table settings for at least 6 guests. Small appliances, pots, pans, and a wide variety of spices make it easy and fun to stay in and cook a meal. Or, walk to one of the several restaurants close by for a fun evening out. The Trex deck has a gas BBQ, outdoor patio furniture and is great for hanging out and entertaining. The driveway has parking for 2-3 cars. Just a short walk to the beach - this is the perfect place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway for two! Deck was expanded and a cable style fence was installed in March 2023 for your safety!

Stays in the summer time are 7 night minimum, Monday-Monday. Please send message to owner for other date options.

Any dishes used must be washed & put away prior to check out. Dishwasher can take up to 2 hours to complete, so take this into consideration.
Any linens used (towels, sheets) must be placed in laundry bags/basket prior to check out.

The house was fantastic and well outfitted. We really enjoyed our stay. The patio had such amazing views and really allowed us to fully enjoy the beach experience. A home filled with delights

From the streets you enter a comfortable inviting wonderland. Home decor fits the house, and it communicates the owners care and love for their place. You feel invited to enjoy the house as well as the incredible view of the ocean from the cliff. The house was well stocked.

Fabulous location of Sea Cliff Beach

The location was great. Scenic views of the beach from the living room, dining area and master bedroomNice deck and a beautiful little path to the beach Neighborhood is quite and there are some good restaurants within a 5 min walk House was nice. Just wished that the deck and chairs were dusted and cleaned. Same with the windows. They were are dusty obstructing the beautiful views. The bathrooms are tiny but ok.

Everything was clean and organized.The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every kind of cooking utensil and appliance. Everything worked well with no problems. There were plenty of towels and blankets. There is a ton of room to sit around both inside and outside.

Great Location

We came here for a vacation with our adult daughters and two grandchildren to visit our son. The house was a great location for listening to the ocean and watching the ocean wildlife! Host was great to work with and would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous View

The view was amazing! The house wasn’t as clean as we would’ve hoped. The oven was very dirty and the floors had crumbs on them. There was hair in the sinks and some of the dishes didn’t look clean. All the outdoor patio furniture was dirty and had cobwebs all over them. We would stay again but hopefully they can find better cleaners.

Beautiful restful and inviting

The VRBO presentation is very close to how the property presents. The layout of the house and patio is convenient and welcoming. The space is designed to provide the best space available for the best access to views. This is a wonderful retreat.

Always a fantastic getaway

This was our second time we stayed in this property and it was just as amazing as the first. Can’t go wrong with waking up and being steps away from a peaceful morning walk along the ocean watching the waves and the wildlife. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is only 15 minutes away - take the kids for a ride on the Giant Dipper roller coaster. Or take a drive down to Monterey or Carmel to experience the amazing Monterey Bay Aquarium or the famous 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach.
