Quintessential lake life vacation! Beautiful and comfortable place with a million dollar view. It was nice to travel light since the house had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the use of the kayaks and the outdoor grill. There were many thoughtful touches such as binoculars near the window, an empty pantry space for our food and shelves for our clothes in the bedroom, lounge chairs by the water. Great swimming, fishing, bird watching (loons but also lots of other birds that I rarely get to see), stargazing and kayaking. It was very quiet in the most perfect way.
Beautiful lake front home with awesome views. Very clean, cozy & spacious. Large fridge & dishwasher was a bonus. All the amenities supplied were great. Highly recommend staying here. Host was also great to deal with & replied very quickly when we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
We really enjoyed the property. The interior was nicely updated. The fire pit on the shore was perfect. The ride to Sugarloaf was a little further than expected but the coziness of camp made up for it. Will definitely consider another stay at this property.
We loved the quiet lakeside house, perfect for two couples. And awesome place for our dog to enjoy swimming. Hosts are very nice, can’t wait to come again!
Beautiful layout for our summer vacation. We Kayaked, fished, used the swim platform and had a really nice time!
Weather was perfect and lake was very clean! Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the lake as well!
Great spot! We just live over in Oquossoc, but what a nice little getaway! Sweet peninsula, quiet, beautiful property! Although very "moosey" to the right down the shore, we only saw an otter! Made my entire birthday! Thanks for sharing! Great spot
My family and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a better view of the lake! Property was clean and well maintained! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone! We have actually already booked it for this winter!
My husband, two dogs, and I enjoyed a quiet April weekend on Porter Lake. The place was exactly as described and clearly a beloved family lake house. We will certainly be back!
Great property, exceptional views....the house has great access to the lake. It snowed during our trip, so the large front windows made it a great vantage point to watch the snow and our ice fishing traps.
Our stay in the Lakefront home was simply outstanding. The beautiful setting, quiet location, warm water, sunny weather, and the ability to have our local family and pet join us all contributed to this wonderful vacation. Our family hopes to return to this beautiful home next year. Thanks!
Jeff and Jess Davis are amazing hosts. I highly recommend their property if you are in the Strong/Kingfield area. House is spotless
and well equipped
We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jeff and Jess.
Jeff and Jess’ lakefront home made for a perfect retreat to relax and take in the peace of the lake and loons. Comfortable bed, nice and clean with everything you need to enjoy yourself. Great communication with the owners throughout the process. Hard to pack our bags and say goodbye. Looking forward to returning.
Beautiful peaceful spot on the pond/lake. We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Clean, well equipped and tremendous view of the pond and mountains. We are already discussing going back next year. Special place!
