Beautiful home and view. Within perfect distance to the spit and downtown Homer. Really cannot put into words the view. Home was comfortable and great place to relax after a long day of fun.

Absolutely had a great visit. The porch / view is worth the price of admission. Well appointed. Well furnished. Great owner. Will be back. In Talkeetna now but wishing I were back down there on the deck with a beverage in my hand!

From the road, it doesn’t look like much, but once inside it is clean, updated, cute, and the views are spectacular. Peggy sent very detailed information on where things were and what to expect and it was much appreciated. Highly recommend this private rural property for your Homer Vacation.

We had a lovely stay. It was perfect for a family of 4. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and just as described and Peggy was a great host. We really appreciated having bottled water provided too. The views are spectacular even in the clouds and rain. We saw a mama moose with two babies in the front yard. My sons loved running around in the yard and looking for birds too (they are budding bird watchers). Would love to stay here again if we could!

This place was absolutely incredible. The views alone are worth the price. The unit sits on top of a hill and offers some of the most beautiful scenery we experienced during our trip.We traveled with children, and the sturdy bunk bed was perfect for them. The hosts also provided games and LEGOs, which our kids loved. The neighborhood was quiet and ideal for evening walks after dinner.The kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware and everything we needed, and the views from the kitchen made preparing meals even more enjoyable.This was the perfect place to end our Alaska trip and truly felt like the crown jewel of our vacation. It was easily one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it, especially to families.

We stayed at this lovely location for 5 nights. This location had ANYTHING you may need to live comfortably for 1 night or 10 ;) The beds and pillows were so comfy! Peggy was a wonderful host. It is 15 minutes from the Spit and Homer. There are many fabulous restaurants and things to do from this location. The views were astounding especially the midnight Sun. We had Sandhill cranes visit during our stay and the eagles were everywhere! I can't describe the views of the Mountains/Volcanos any other way except Breath taking. We sat on the front porch for hours. I would highly recommend this location/host to anyone wanting to stay around the Homer area! Thanks for everything Ms. Peggy!

Gorgeous view, sweet cabin

What a great view! This simple cabin overlooks gorgeous mountains and is a short drive to Homer. We had good communication with the host and they had lots of suggestions for what to do and even copies of local restaurant menus. Great stay!

Great stay just outside of Homer

Group of 4 of us stayed here for 5 days or so and it was perfect for us. The views across the inlet are phenomenal on a clear day, the proximity to Homer was fantastic for us, and we were visited by a moose and her calf a couple of times. Highly recommend. Owner was very responsive and the home had everything we needed.

Awesome place!

Our family absolutely loved staying here! This is a well cared for property in a beautiful area. The views from the home, deck, and yard were amazing. The owner provided little extras such as drinking water, laundry detergent, sleeping masks, coffee, and yard games. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to stay again in the future!

Fantastic location and host!

This is a fantastic place to stay with an amazing view. The house was very clean and well kept with everything that we would need included. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay great. Of all the VRBO’s we have used, this was the best! Highly recommend it.

Great cabin!

My family and I stayed in this cabin for several days while we were in Homer. The cabin was very clean, very well stocked, and included all the amenities as advertised. We even saw the cranes strutting around the yard as well as the moose and calf! The cabin has wonderful views and was a perfect fit for our Alaska vacation.

Comfortable Cabin with Breathtaking Views

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at this clean and comfortable cabin. What a gem! It’s equipped with everything needed for a long or short visit, including games, bug spray, and ALL the amenities of home. The view is unbelievably beautiful each and every time we stay. The owners are helpful, kind, and very responsive.
