Carol’s Cabin in the Woods in Historic Hoosier Hills

This is a very quiet, secluded property on 58 acres with a nice hiking trail, clean pond and lots of outdoor space. We bought the property for family gatherings and sharing with special guests. The indoor space has a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms. The indoor space is 1700 sq ft. Big screen TV. WI-FI. Outdoor grill fire pit. Plenty of wild life to watch. Amish country and Amish stores close by. 30 minutes to Madison In.and 15 minutes to Vevay In. 1 hour the the Ark museum and the Creation museum .

Carol's Cabin is a wonderful little spot in the woods! Our family and dogs enjoyed our time there relaxing and visiting other family in the area. This cabin felt like home the second we walked in. The cabin is clean and has quite literally anything you need and more. The rooms are spacious and there is more than enough room to sleep many. The cabin was extremely clean. We really enjoyed the seating on both decks and enjoyed the nature. The fire pit is a great addition to the property! We spent both of our free days shopping on Main St in Madison! We will most certainly be back to stay at Carol's cabin! Thanks again!

The photos do not do this place justice! It is absolutely beautiful, very clean and well stocked! We loved staying here it was so quiet and peaceful. The kids and dogs enjoyed swimming in the pond and playing outside. The living is big enough for our family of 9 and 2 dogs to sit comfortably and play games or watch movies. The eating area as well. The bonfire pit is nice too. We highly recommend this place. We also went to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Roxano’s in Vevay has really great pizza btw the park is lovely as well.

We had a wonderful stay! We especially enjoyed fishing in the pond and relaxing on the beautiful property. John was very kind and helpful. We spent a day at Louisville Zoo, visited Clifty Falls State Park, and did some shopping and lunch in Downtowj Madison. It’s a great area for a familyvacation! Would absolutely recommend this property to others.

I bought Carols Cabin from the estate of a very good friend of mine. Always loved the place.

What makes this property unique

Each guest has always comments how quiet and peaceful the property is. It has all the amenities. Beautiful pond with good fishing and swimming. Close to Madison In and Vevay In. Great get away from the busy word.
