Clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay for visiting Cottonwood and the surrounding area. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurant, shops, and tasting rooms in Cottonwood, and we loved reading about the history of the house in book provided by the hosts. Hosts were very responsive. This property was great for our weekend getaway. Our place was spotless and we loved the comfy king sized bed and huge shower. We will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and so close you can drop off purchases made while shopping and head back out easily. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well appointed. There are no screens on the windows, so we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the windows open but it didn’t matter due to the AC in the room that worked perfectly.

Steve and Denise are super host and Steve explained all the history of the bungalow and other rentals on the same property along with the history of the horse trough, the adobe building and the basement which may have had a tunnel or room that was used during Prohibition!! The bungalow was nicely decorated, cozy and clean!! For those out there that are sensitive to scented products, laundry detergents and air fresheners, they do not use any in their rentals which was a huge plus for me!! We definitely would stay at their place again!!

Pristine immaculate historical house located in a safe and friendly neighborhood. The house has many nice touches throughout and on the property. Well stocked, comfortable bed, rainforest shower, and just a short walk into town. The front porch is perfect for sitting, reading, sipping wine or coffee. We actually met Steve, the owner, who told us lots of interesting facts about the house and other 2 houses he rents on the same property. Check out his book on the coffee table. Such a fascinating person. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. Tavern on the Green great for a drink and lunch. Merkins hilltop winery awesome bloody Mary, and delicious bruschetta. Wonderful seats at the bar to take in the views.Took the tram up but walked down the 80 steps...no problem. Bocce Pizza had excellent Caesar salad and thin crust pizza. But the best dinner is at Nic's. Steve was right, get there at 4:30 to stand in line until they open at 5:00. We got there 5:30 and it was packed but we only had a 25 minute wait. Sat at the bar, ordered drinks and the best lightly fried calamari. Dinner was amazing too. Would love to go back and stay here again.
