Come relax in a rustic cedarwood mountain cabin on a property covered with Aspen and Pine trees. Deer and bears have been known to frequent so bring your camera! This property sits off a county road one mile from I-70. Any time of year. I love it on Floyd Hill yeart round. You get the mountain serene nature, yet you are only 27 minutes to downtown Denver - 16th Street Mall. Heading west on I-70 you are 15 minutes to the Indian Hot Springs, 32 miles to Loveland Ski Resort. The property is great for summertime barbecues and there tiki bar in the backyard. Cuddle up on a snowy day and read a book and watch the wildlife pass by. Great views !

The cabin is easy to get to and a great place to get away and relax. It is close to ski areas and Idaho Springs. There is lots to do and see close by. The master bathroom is a bit dated but it is adequate. Overall its a great place to stay.
Enjoyed the stay, location was ideal for our pond hockey tournament in Georgetown. Visited by a few deer each morning. As mentioned in the description driveway is a bit steep and can be icy to get up in the winter. 4x4 required but worked just fine. Clean house, good communication, had everything we needed.
So glad we found this place. Spent my 60th birthday weekend with my 4 grown up adult kids. It was perfect!
Taya goes above and beyond to make your stay special! A wine & cheese basket awaited our arrival, so thoughtful. Such a beautiful property and area! We will absolutely return again!
I went with my family from the Boston area to visit my son and his wife and my little grandson who live in Evergreen. The house was a great fit. We celebrated my grandson’s birthday there and we had plenty of room. We also used the hot tub which was great.
Lovely, cozy place. Would love to go back in the summer. The driveway was tricky, especially after the fresh snowfall. Otherwise, great place. We loved it!
Needed a quick escape from the city. This place was perfect for us to relax. Quick trip from Denver. Comfy. Great view. Everything we needed for a nice refresh.
We had such a great time during our stay. The place exceeded our expectations entirely. The cabin and surrounding area was so beautiful especially with the snow they recently had. I definitely recommend staying here during the November season. The host Taya and Steve were very communicative with us from the time we booked to the day of checking out. Taya responded to our questions in a timely manner and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is so beautiful leaving is not necessary but if you want to explore, the home is located 30 minutes from downtown Denver and is close to a lot of other Colorado attractions. We had such a great time! 10/10 WILL DO IT AGAIN! Thank you Taya and Steve!
Absolutely amazing place. Right off the highway, but feels very remote. We had a bull elk right outside eating his breakfast one morning. Quick trip to Red Rocks. Driveway would be pretty scary in the winter.
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was relaxing, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the large window with a beautiful view and nice slow mornings on the porch swing. We also got to use the hot tub and 4 deer came up (two of them fawns) right next to it while we were in it! Truly an incredible stay.
Great for our family to use as a base for our weekend visit to Colorado Mountains. Has a lot of features we didn't get a chance to take advantage of since we had a packed schedule.
When we arrived, the beds were not made, but after communicating with our host, she went out of her way to come and make it right. The place was beautiful, up in the mountains. We stayed all weekend with our friends and made memories that will last a lifetime. The host was very kind and accomodating. There was a lot of useful items in the house to cook, clean, and use for showering. The hot tub was amazing and we would all definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a getaway! Also, we would absolutely stay in this cabin again! Love your Red Rocks.attendees!
I had such a relaxing stay at this cabin, the fall views and the hot tub made it a perfect spot to unwind between the cozy couch/views out the window and open concept in the kitchen were perfect. I love that I was able to cook while still being a part of the conversation with everyone in the living room and dining room it made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely visit this cabin again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Our Stay
The location and views are amazing. The house was not horrible. I would say there is an abundance of eletrical cords all over the house and that was a bit overwhelming. Felt that is a bit of a hazard. Check in was pushed back a bit. Arrived and the 'cleaning crew' was there. Had to wait a bit to get into the property. Which, a few hours prior and based off of a phone conversation we though all would be done by the time we got there. It didn't appear that too much cleaning had been done. There was a build up of dust, crumbs, and pet hair on the floor near the appliances and what not in the kitchen and open area. We just dealt with it and swept up what we saw. The upstairs bathroom had missing cabinet doors and looked awful. About every room in the house had extension cords plugged into extension cords ran throughout the house. Just felt unsafe about that as that could be a hazard. We had to ask a few times for the correct keypad code, and ultimately just moved on from that and had to leave the house unlocked at times. No key. The front door stop was unattached and had to be manually moved every time you entered/exited. We were almost ready to get our tools and fix it ourselves. Someone could have gotten an injury from that. There were ciggarete butts all over the property. That was pretty disgusting. There was a trash can lid just sitting in a rocky landscaped area.
